    Yes, Marxist-Leninist Hollyweird directors like to portray slavery as "bad" and "cruel" but lets hear about slavery from an actual slave:

      Many people have the false impression that slavery is a cruel and evil institution where slaves are constantly beat and are sitting around sad and in shackles. This is completely untrue! They're just like children. Sure, you have to beat them to put them in line sometimes, but overall they're happy. God put specific rules in place in order to ensure slaves are happy.

      Exodus 21:7-11

      Male servants can go outside while female servants can't. Additionally, male servants from your country are to only serve you for six years. This is to be expected since males are worth more than females. Six years of a male serving you is probably the equivalent to an entire lifetime of a female serving you.

      Though God is looking out for female slaves too! For example, if the person who bought the slave is not satisfied, he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners. If the slave owner wants the slave to marry her son, she must be treated as a daughter, not a slave. On top of that, if he takes another wife, then he still has to feed her!

      On top of all that, you're not allowed to kill your slaves Exodus 21:20-21 , and if you gouge out your slaves eyes or knock out their teeth you have to let them go Exodus 21:26-27! How gracious and loving is God? I'm almost tempted to want to become a slave now! I bet slaves back then were treated better than the working class is now under Obama.
      Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

        Not only this but we slaves are called to obey our masters AS UNTO CHRIST, with a COMPLETE submission.

        5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

                  It is quite true and it is well known that most slaves were very happy indeed. Naturally, there are always malcontents in every walk of life who are unhappy with their situation. They can be expected to complain loudly, though they are a small minority.

                  By and large, the slaves on a plantation made up a happy and sharing extended community, sort of like a large family. Many were brought to Jesus by their loving and concerned masters. It was on these large farms that Negroes learned about watermelon, ribs, catfish, chickens and other blessings of civilized life.

                  It is common knowledge that Negroes on those farms would sing and dance and play the banjo. If they were unhappy, why would they act so happy?

                  The idea that slaves were mistreated was one of the excuses the Yankees used to come down here and steal everything they could carry. It was a lie then and it is a lie now. God hates Yankees for their thieving and lying. At least they used to come around and steal what ever they could and then go back to the North, where the summers are more suitable for sissies. Now, they come here and stay, due to the curse of air conditioning.

                    This.

                    Maybe lil' mister hellbound don't realize it, but acting the fool is exhausting. Fake smiling, pretending to be happy causes mental strain.

                    Its much easier to be yourself.

                    There is no way those slave would have gotten any physical labor done if they had spend all their energy "pretending" to be happy.

                    Instead, they felt put to good use and as a result, truly were happy.

                      It all depends on your perspective there DemonThinker96. The nigra was definitely better off than being in Africa - what with the prospect of full employment, free food (watermelon and fried chicken) and a chance to get away from the mooselimbs.

                      It was the liberals in the North that stirred them up, both the democrats and RINO republicans, along with some liberal churches that were constantly stirring up discontent and encouraging them to escape - giving them false hopes of living off of welfare and free Harvard education to promote socialism like Obama.

                      The nigra was indeed happy at one time as indicated by their penchant for singing Stephen Foster songs.
