    I Wrote a Song

The Lord God came to me in a vision this morning and gave me the words to a song for His Glory:

    1. The Lord is large, He is so great; To whom each person can relate. He heals our minds, He heals our souls. I dance and leap and shout while loud my joy-bell tolls.

Chorus: The Lord is good, the Lord is amazing; he stopped the bullies on my block from all their hazing. On troubled waters, He is my barge. The Lord is good and great and most of all He's large.

    2. When you feel small, He'll make you bigger. When trouble calls, He'll be your help; No need to worry, fret or fear; His grace will overcome and He will be your peer.

    (Repeat Chorus)

    3. His promises are always true; my Savior will not ever lie to you. He says to ask, and you'll receive. Your prayers will all be answered if you just believe.

    (Repeat Chorus)

    4. It matters not what you have done; you may have blasphemed God and Son; but here's the thing that matters most, don't you ever ever blaspheme the Holy Ghost.

    (Repeat Chorus)
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Amazing song! It really makes me imagine the power of God and all the good He brings. You're truly blessed to have such a vision.

I can't get it to scan.

But in some ways it's quite good.

Is there a tune to go with it?
Proverbs 20:23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.

Of course there is a tune, Fag. God doesn't do things halfway. He takes me all the way.
The closest thing to the melody for this song is the hymn "I Never Shall Forget That Day (When Jesus took my sins away). But it's adapted from that - not an exact match because the Lord doesn't plagiarize, Fag.

          Brother Larry,

What a wonderful ditty! When are you going to perform it?

          Tom
          Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
