Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan said showing both eyes encouraged women to use eye make-up to look seductive. The question of how much of her face a woman should cover is a controversial topic in many Muslim societies.

The niqab is more common in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, but women in much of the Muslim Middle East wear a headscarf which covers only their hair, AFP reported. Sheikh Habadan, an ultra-conservative cleric who is said to have wide influence among religious Saudis, was answering questions on the Muslim satellite channel al-Majd.

Women can't drive there, so I suppose it doesn't matter if they don't have any depth perception. They'll learn to compensate if they keep dropping dishes.

I wear cheap but fashionable shoes, and my make up comes from where-ever I can buy it
I don't care about it because it's more important for me that my man and child get everything they need, I'm the one on the last spot to get anything here and I don't mind at all, because my family is the most important thing in the world

We both work hard to come around with the money, unlike you, you just have the comfort to stay home, guess what that's just not possible here
So first things to erase from my shoppinglist are thing I don't need anymore, I look just fine the way I am and my man thinks the same way
