  • Why Can't I Call the Retarded Boy Upstairs a Retard?

Turnover is big in this building, even though it's one of the more desirable rent-controlled properties in the city. I was mentioning to my neighbor Lucy that the new family upstairs seems to have a retard for a son and she got all defensive, stating I can't call him that.

She walked away in a huff when I asked why. Has the world fallen into a pit of political correctness and can't get up?

I even asked my parents about this and they both seemed surprised that I would call this Mongoloid a retard - but when it's true, shouldn't I proclaim the truth? It doesn't mean I don't love him, and I even gave his parents a copy of the book "Helping the Retarded Know God." They threw it at me. I was so hurt by this unfeeling act.

Do I dust my shoes and walk away?
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Brother Larry, you're one of the most compassionate Christians I've ever met. For these people to judge you without knowing you is unfair. They sound like a bunch of atheist creeps who hate God. Why else would He have cursed their son to live the life of a drooling, gibbering basket case? Fifty years ago, medical doctors would have officially diagnosed the boy as "mentally retarded." But now that word is considered "offensive" and "triggering" by the snowflakes. It's similar to the case of the colored cashier at the gas station who used foul language the other day after I called her a "negro." You know who else used that word? Martin Luther King Jr. He becomes a colored saint, and I get branded a racist. What's especially ironic about your case is that retards cannot get offended by anything because they lack the cognitive capacity to understand human speech or experience emotions. More than any other facet of what they call "bigotry," retardation is a clear cut case of SJWs getting offended on behalf of "victims" who don't even care.

Based on your post, you did everything right. You expressed concern for the retarded child, you even attempted to witness to him with that lovely book, but because you innocently used a word that has been deemed offensive, they act like you're a Nazi. Hitler would've gassed the little creep, for the record, he wouldn't have tried to save his soul and get him into heaven like you did. I suppose that when something is foul, every word used to describe it eventually becomes tainted by the assocation. Colored, negro, mongoloid, retard, Jew, midget, oriental, cripple; all of these words for sinful disabilities were originally embraced by those they describe, but now they are considered hateful slurs.

I think you've done all you can, brother. The parents have shut their hearts to God's glory, and will do nothing to attempt to cure their monstrous abomination of a son. And I'd steer clear of this Lucy as well, I'd wager she voted for Hillary.
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
    Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Oh, dear Great-Grandbaby Brother Larry: You are quite right in how you are handling this situation. As people, we must always speak the truth, even when the truth is offensive to some. It makes the Lord happy when we do so, and to speak untruthfully causes Him great upset:

Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.”

Your friend, Lucy, should not have been upset, but it’s understandable. She’s most likely that way when she hears of the glorious Gospel of our , as well. I shouldn’t let her opinion sway you. But, as far as the parents of that retarded brat are concerned, might I suggest giving that very book back to them, along with a copy of the ? If they reject you once again, then, yes, do shake the dust off your feet, but only after you have warned them that they have invited the Lord to visit them in rage and in fury.

Hebrews 10:30 “ For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. “

A blessed day to you, dear Larry. Sincerely, Isabella W.
P.S. Regarding your neighbor Lucy, is your apartment, by chance, located at 623 East 68th Street??

Brother Larry, does your neighbor Lucy also have some sort of retard in the family? It may not be obvious, as they might be in an institution, but you could maybe ask around and find out. People who are personally cursed in this way are often over-sensitive and this leads to rudeness.

I agree with Brother Dennis: steer well clear of this sort of self-righteous feminazi female. As for the child's parents, throwing that helpful book right back at you constitutes assault and if it caused any bruising, I would speak to a lawyer.

In situations of this type, where God's word is preached as Jesus preached it, exorcism would be the remedy employed. There are so many symptoms recorded in The Bible which are identical to those described by modernistic physicians that we can be sure they're addressing the same problems. At the end of the day it doesn't matter so much what we call it or what we call the treatment, as long as the treatment is the right one.

For instance collecting some attractive green shoots for a floral arrangement could involve falling out of a tree. You might have twisted your knee or got stuck and just swung there for a while but eventually you're back indoors and can see you need one of those elastic support things. It doesn't matter if you call a twisted knee a flurglesqwok and an elastic knee sleeve mueerpee flzzz (except no-one would know what you were talking about) as long as you get the right bandage on the right knee everything's fine.

Jesus does not flurglesqwok. He calls foaming-at-the-mouth "foaming-at-the-mouth" and we know what that means, He describes convulsions unmistakably and we know what convulsions are, similarly for slicing-oneself-with-sharp-things or the symptoms of deaf/dumb demon possession. (You can't hear. You can't speak.)

All the "dys-" this and "seizure" that we have coming from physicians (those who say Jesus didn't know what He was talking about) changes nothing. We can all see a convulsion and know what it is. We never misidentify mouth-foaming or arm-slicing. They are really quite unmistakeable symptoms, they are described explicitly by Jesus, the remedy then (from the Creator of the Universe) was exorcism but in the 21st century all of a sudden—well, over a hundred years or so—Jesus doesn't know what to do?

If Jesus is so ignorant about His creation, how can we possibly exist in the first place? Parents are reluctant to accept that devils have taken over their children and will flurglesqwok like nobody's business to avoid the real issue. All that's necessary is to break the ice.

That is an example of how desperate the demons are to get in people. By preventing understanding of language or blocking hearing altogether or making people crack their heads on sharp edges or convulse themselves into fires the message of Redemption can be thwarted. When family members deny the existence of demonic possession it becomes doubly difficult to do what Jesus did. Physicians say they can't be cured.

The Bible not only tells us that they were cured but even how they were cured and that Christians have the ability to cast out devils too. By introducing the element of demonic possession into your casual conversations, not coming on too strong and by simply describing one or two of the "symptoms" I'm sure you'd get a positive response and that as you read The Gospels you'll see appropriate "symptoms" to fit naturally in your casual chats.

If they don't know what The Bible says, how can they make the right decision?

            Brother Larry,
Put down your ego. Think for a moment. You're not perfect. No one is. Have some respect for others. Don't push your agenda on other people. You have no reason to be hurt. Instead of acting like a feminist and coming online to whine and complain, be the bigger man and go apologize and don't bother them again.

I beg your pardon! Brother Larry is possibly the most perfect man I have never met in real life! Not only is he a but a real man's man as well. Any man who can not only take care of a horse's teeth but also turn a homer man's heart to God is as close to perfect (only a bit lower than Jesus and Donald J. Trump of course) as one can get!

Young lady, I will thank you here and now to issue a formal apology to our Brother Larry. He is an excellent example of an upstanding, handsome, upright, handsome, righteous, wholesome, handsome, selfless, honest (and did I mention very handsome) . Brother Larry is one of the Lord's servants, constantly ministering to many people in their hour of need. Why, on any given Saturday night, he can be found witnessing to many young men on the dark streets, or in some park somewhere, within his Village in New York City. If anybody needs to learn about respect, it is you! Now, apologize to Brother Larry, and learn some humility (and manners) before you return to ! Isabella W.

Christians have been redeemed by Christ. Because we were never worth Redemption based on "merit" like various inferior belief systems would have it, we love Jesus. This is explained in The Bible, a book I recommend you read.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The Bible also explains what those commandments are. Here's one commanding something impossible without Him:
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Brother Larry is perfect because he, like all Christians as set out in The Bible, has been redeemed from the vileness of our birth condition and follows the commandments of Jesus.

In the spirit of Christian Love, let's forgive what the poster said about me and move on in diligence and prayer, carefully running the race that Jesus has set before us so that one day, we will enjoy the blessings of a life well lived serving the One Who set us free from the bondage of sin.

Political correctness has been called out as a negative by our Godly President Trump. I have never had any qualms calling those who deserve it “retards” either. If they are degenerate and can’t keep up with the normal flock then they really are retarded and slow. I can recall a time when I was in church and this family brought in their son who was in a wheelchair. He couldn’t speak unless he had this tube thing attached to his mouth and neck and even then it wasn’t really him speaking but his computer. I decided to let the kid know ahead of time that when he dies, he can’t bring the wheelchair with him when he dies and has to answer to God and that since he can’t speak on his own, he’s pretty much hellbound at birth. His parents didn’t seem to like that too much but Pastor Bucky (my pastor at the time until he passed away in a motocross accident) pretty much agreed with me.
My name is Maxine Levantine. I am 17 and follow the KJV Bible to a T. If you are wanting to hit on me you can turn away. THIS is reserved for Jesus and my future husband (whoever that may be).

What kind of heathen false "church" were you going to that would admit such filth? Clearly your pastor wasn't familiar with Leviticus 21:18-21, or else he would've booted the vile beast off the premises.

Well, it's their fault their offspring is a demonic crippled retard in the first place. They must've done something to enrage Jesus before the little freak was born (Exodus 34:7).
