well, mainly because not many people would want to pay to just host drawings. i know i dont want to pay. however, if they are really confident, accomplished, and have the finacial support (which is usally gained by sites like deviantart because once in a while a sucessful artist or company browses through the pictures.) then they would find a webmaster and have their own website, but it's more conveint to host drawings at a free website. as for why are they not using it to praise god, im sorry to break it to you, but not all of them are christian.

yea, whateveryone pro deviantart said. i dont know why you would want to look at nude pictures of people to begin with, but it's not made to be an online porn site. it's rather a place where people who have exceptional talent or people with raw talent on the field of artistic creativity to showcase their work, get critique from others, and perfect it. and im not sure (since i dont look at nude pictures) but i think that in order to view those pictures you must be over a certain age limit, signed in, etc etc. if not, then the moderators and admins wasnt able to track down the people who posted those in the wrong tag quickly enough.

That website is not specifically for nude pictures, rather, it is for (visual) artistic works of any kind. If you do not wish to see the nude pictures, you can jus tnot go there.

I doubt you will ever shut down that site, for it is a reputable source of artistic talent. It is a source of self expression. Nothing you can do will ever change that, nothing you can do will bring down their site.

God created everything because he's an artist.


Artists create something.

If you're still around, here's a thought for you: If God controls everything that happens (and He wouldn't be much of a supreme being if He didn't) then He is responsible for the death of everyone that has ever lived. One day, He will kill you, and everyone you have ever known or loved. He also quite clearly states that after He's done killing them, He will condemn the vast majority of the world's population to eternal torture. Sounds like a very strange kind of art to me.

When you realize this, I hope then that you realize just how much God wants to possess your soul, to hold it fast in His embrace and shower it with the golden rays of His love. But you did say that you don't read the Bible (and in fact insulted it), and don't seem to want to hear that it is clear that God isn't all love and happiness and ice cream on a sunny afternoon.

If you're going to follow God's Word and say you love God, wouldn't it serve you well to understand His Word and who He tells us He is?

You don't have to take OUR word for it. In fact, you shouldn't take OUR word, or any preacher's word, or your mother's word. Only GOD'S Word.

I suggest you read the Bible for yourself. Keep a notebook where you can write down events or major statements God makes, and add your own thoughts about them. See what you come up with. The God and Jesus you will come to know through reading His Word will be very different from the all-loving, sweetie-pie beings your preachers have told you about.

And yes, I strongly do recommend the King James version. Other versions are significantly different; a Google search for "NIV vs KJV" will give you scores of differences, where the NIV people radically changed or even cut out verses because they didn't like what they said. There are other comparisons showing several versions side by side, all significantly altered from the KJV.

There's a reason we call NIV the New Infidel Version, and it's not to be funny.

And well...i was...shocked. I'd never seen such an extremist form of Christianity before in my entire life. I then found the forum, and i came here....hoping i could make some sort of a difference. But i'm a huge crybaby and usually cant do things without my best friend, shawna. so i let her in on the whole situation. and now we're here.


But its okay. You guys can keep your beliefs, and i'll keep mine. We'll all see what happens when the day comes.
