Touche... I did make a mistake. I am by no means perfect. I meant to say gospels that first time.

Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
Forgive me Dr. Davidson but you did say and I quote, "Paul didn't write any of the books of the new testament."
You didnt say just the gospels. If you meant the gospels but accidentally said new testament, then thats fine. But you need to know that Paul did write the majorit of the books in the NT.
Oh yeah, of course God does not lie. He is without sin.

Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
The Pauline epistles are the thirteen or fourteen letters in the New Testament of the Christian Bible traditionally believed to have been written by the apostle Paul. Among them are some of the earliest extant Christian documents. They provide an insight into the beliefs and controversies of formative Christianity and, as part of the canon of the New Testament, they have also been, and continue to be, hugely influential in Christian theology and ethics.

I agree that the Bible is the infallible and Holy Word of God. However, this does raise an interesting question - what if God is lying to us? Do you believe that God can lie?Originally posted by The Revelator View PostTo say that Paul is not the author of any New Testament book IS SAYING THAT THE BIBLE IS LIEING here. Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
I said that Paul did not write any of the gospels. He wrote many letters, and they were compiled and referenced within the gospels. Check it out. While he was moving throughout Europe founding new chruches, the other apostles were writing the gospels. He did however, write many letters to the previous churches he'd founded.Originally posted by The Revelator View PostExcuse my remark reverand, but have you read the New Testament? Paul opens up every book he writes with an introduction and then continues on with a personalized letter.

Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
Pauk addresses I think every epistle he wrote in the New Testament as his own. Are you saying that the Bible is untrue?
Galatians 1:1-2
Paul, an apostle...unto the churches of Galatia:
Ephesians 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faitful in Christ Jesus:
Romans 1:1
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ....
Colossians 1:1-2
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God...To the saints and faithful brethren of Christ which are at Colosse:
Philippians 1:1
Paul and Timotheus, the servant sof Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi.
Excuse my remark reverand, but have you read the New Testament? Paul opens up every book he writes with an introduction and then continues on with a personalized letter. Look it up yourself if you wish. To say that Paul is not the author of any New Testament book IS SAYING THAT THE BIBLE IS LIEING here. Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
The Revelator,
You talk of Paul. I'm afraid to say that Paul is in part the cause of the early Christian Church. I'll also point out that Paul didn't write any of the books of the new testament. His many letters were referenced, but all he did was start new churches. He did this by himself, and used only his own words to start these churches.
The very nature of religion is to be xenophobic. This is part of the reason the joos fell from grace. Only by following the letter of God's words, can one hope not to fall into the category of hypocryite.

Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
Please forgive me, but that has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Let me guess. The white people with blonde hair the holiest! Gosh, how could I have been so blind.....ok, I'm sorry. but honestly, light and darkness are completely different from black and white skin.Originally posted by Sister Mary Maria View PostJohn 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Light isn't dark now, is it? He is the light, so the lighter the man, the closer he is to Jesus.

And Ezekiel, why do you think God loves America? America is one of, if not the most, immoral country around. You quoted an old hymn as proof! That is no proof. If I wrote a hymn about God loving Africa, would that make the blacks his chosen ones too. You say i am blind, but it is time to remove the plank from your own eye.
Jesus was born a Jew! I'm sorry to burst your bubble.
The only people ever to have been called God's chosen people were the Isrealites. I'm saying that for what, the third time now?
I'm honestly shocked. You guys seem very dependant on what the Word of God says yet you believe whites are the superior race with no Biblical proof whatsoever, It's astonishing.

You truly are thick, aren't you. Jesus IS White. The fact that God loves America and has shed His Grace on Thee (America) from day one is clear evidence that Jesus is White. God is Jesus' father. Are you saying God is a hook-nosed jew?Originally posted by The Revelator View PostHow could you possibly come to that conclusion? Scriptually I'm talking about. Listen my friend, if the white race was the chosen race why wasn't Jesus white? Why wasnt anyone whow rote the bible white? Saying that the white race is superior is complete falacy. We are talking about skin pigment. It's like saying ANYONE WITH BLUE EYES ARE GODS TRUE RACE. That just sounds silly doesnt it?

Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
God refers to races as 'tribes' because there is supposed to be only one race, that created in GOD's image: The white race. All the rest were created by SATAN from animals or shrubs.

Re: Racism is a sin, amirite?
whats a hebe?
So you're saying the Bible conradicts itself then? Well I think it doesnt.
All those verses you posted were a mouthfull, but few if none actually condone racism at all.
See, your big scary list doesnt scar eme at all. let me go through some of your points.
Acts
1. What does pointing out what group of people crucified Jesus have to do with superior races?
2. Actually, it says "must be destroyed AMONG THEIR OWN KIND" (KJV). Internal racism? or a flawed point? I'm going with flawed point.
3. Has nothing to do with superior races. It has to do with if your saved or not.
4. Once again, this proves nothing.
5. Stephen blamed the jews yes, did he say he was better than the Jews? no.
6. What does this have to do with an inferior race?
7. Once again, doesnt matter.
8. Herod was an evil man, anything he did is something we SHOULDNT do.
9. This has nothign to do with race.
10. ^
11. They said this because the Jews rejected the Word of God, not because of their race.
12. Once again, doesnt have anything to do with racism being aprroved by God.
13. They did this because they didnt believe what he was teaching about God, not because of his race. But even if it was, how does this prove your case.
I could go on, but it's getting late here. If you want, I can continue the list tomorrow. I dont know if you copied down the wrong list, or what, but this list proves nothing. GOD DOES NOT CONDONE RACISM, AND HE DOES NOT HAVE A SUPERIOR RACE. Your big scary list might have worked on some people, but not me.

You want to quote Acts? Fine.Originally posted by The Revelator View PostHmm...this is interesting. In the Bible, God has considered the Israelites his "chosen race" not white Americans....but even with that aside, God has commanded us in several places to look upon each race the same....why?...because God looks on each race the same! He showed it in the New Testament in reference to the Jews and Gentiles.
Acts 10:28
He said to them: "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I SHOULD NOT CALL ANY MAN IMPURE OR UNCLEAN.
Now this is Peter talking, and he's basically saying that GOD TOLD HIM that he should not look upon any other race as impure or unclean....this is something you guys do a lot.
Take a look at this verse:
Romans 3:9
What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin.
That verse speaks volumes to me.
I'm sure that with your intricate biblical knowledge, a flushing toilet would speak volumes to you. Please learn to use Scripture in context before you try to teach anyone anything.
Paul, a very wise christian, asks a simple question. "Are we better than them?" When he asked that, he was referring to race. He was basically saying "Is our race better than this race?" You know what his answer was...It was NO! He even elaborates by explaining that we are all under sin. Thus, white skinned people are no more superior than a black skinned person. We are all the same on the inside. We all have a soul, we all sin, we all need Jesus. The color of our skin is irrelevant to God.
I'll finish up this post with another verse from Romans.
Romans 10:12
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (two different races of the time): For the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
- Peter blames the Jews for the death of Jesus. 3:14-15
- Peter claims that Dt.18:18-19 refers to Jesus, saying that those who refuse to follow him (all non-Christians) must be killed. 3:23
- God will torture forever those who don't know the password to heaven. 4:12
- Once again, Peter accuses the Jews of murdering Jesus. 5:30
- Stephen blames the Jews for persecuting the prophets and murdering Jesus. 7:51-52
- After Saul "increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews," the "Jews took counsel to kill him." 9:22-23
- The Jews are again blamed for the death of Jesus. 10:39
- Herod kills James the brother of John and imprisons Peter "because he saw it pleased the Jews." 12:1-3
- The "angel of the Lord" killed Herod by having him "eaten of worms" because "he gave not God the glory." 12:23
- Paul and the Holy Ghost conspire together to make Elymas (the sorcerer) blind. 13:8-11
- The Jews of Antioch, after seeing Paul's success in preaching, were envious and blasphemed God. Paul then declares them to be "unworthy of everlasting life." 13:45-46
- Once again "the Jews stirred up" trouble and "raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts." 13:50
- "The unbelieving Jews" stir up trouble again for Paul and incite the people to try to stone him to death. 14:2-5
- In Thessalonica, "the Jews which believed not, moved with envy" stir up trouble for Paul and his friends. 17:5, 13
- "And when they [the Jews of Corinth] opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he [Paul] shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads." (Have a nice day?) 18:6
- "The Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat." 18:12
- The first Christian book burning occurs when Paul's converts at Ephesus burn 50,000 silver pieces worth of books. 19:19
- Poor Paul complains, once again, of being mistreated by "the Jews." 20:19
- The Jews, once again, incite the people to kill poor old Paul 21:27, 31
- The Jews form a grand conspiracy to kill Paul. They vow not to eat until the job is done. 23:12-15
- Claudius saves Paul from being killed by the Jews. 23:27
- Those pesky Jews caught Paul and and tried to kill him. But he got away. Darn! 26:21
How about Romans...you DID quote Romans, right?
- "The wrath of God" is on all unbelievers. 1:18-20
- The existence and nature of God are self-evident; thus, unbelievers are "without excuse." 1:20
- God abandons those who don't know him to "uncleanness and vile affections." 1:24, 26, 28
- Paul condemns homosexuals (including lesbians). This is the only clear reference to lesbians in the Bible. 1:26-28
- Homosexuals (those "without natural affection") and their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death." 1:31-32
- Paul says that those who accuse him of lying deserve damnation. 3:8
- "He that doubteth is damned ... Whosoever is not of faith is sin." 14:23
- Shun those who disagree with your religious views. 16:17
Get thee gone, sniveling Hebe!
