    a REAL question

So I was reading over the "Hell" site you made for (I believe Halloween). It said to be saved, you are to pray to God and recite that prayer: I admit my sins, have me into your grace, I'll have you in my life, etc.

But what if someone repeating this prayer has not been Baptized? What happens to them? Is the prayer void because it is uttered by someone considered unclean?

There's a little more to salvation than just reciting a prayer. That prayer is merely the fourth and final step of the plan of salvation.

That isn't an issue at all. Baptism is something you do shortly AFTER you get saved.

Okay, so once one has gone through these steps, baptism is next, and then you're set?

I cannot attend church where I live, it's not Holy. The churches here are the most repulsive and ungodly places I've ever known. Besides a Manson concert, but those kids are all idiots...and obviously on drugs.

Yes, but those steps aren't easy. You have to give up any and all sin from your life. If you continue to sin, it means you weren't saved.

What part of Texas are you in? There have to be some Bible-believing churches around somewhere.

Central. I don't want to go to church here, I fear they may all be like that crazy sect that got disbanded in the east. 0.0

And NOBAR, that wasn't very nice to give me a red comment for starting a thread with So. it just came out that way, sir!

It wasn't meant to be nice. Only people under 17 start threads with 'So', which is a conjunction. Don't make it a habit.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I've only been 18 for about 6 months now, give me a break.
              Your statement is noted.

Have you any advice for me, sir?

Central Texas means San Antonio and Austin, where I was raised and went to college. Now I have some friends in a church down there, but they don't allow just anyone through the door.

                        Thank you, pastor...
                        I already graduated high school.

One slip up is excusable, no?
It's a small mistake amongst a bigger subject matter, it's not important.

I wouldn't expect them to let "just anyone" into their church, it's SUPPOSED to be a holy place. Unfortunately, some denominations just let in anyone...

Well, you could live anywhere up 35 or 183. I'd suggest you get your butt down to Austin and Go to college for at least six years.

Well, thank the Lord we don't!

Salvation isn't just a quickie deal, Miss Vampi. You have to repent. That means you sincerely apologize for your sins, and for being a sinful human, and recognize your inherent worthlessness in God's eyes. You must realize that without His grace, you deserve to go to Hell, simply for the crime of being a human.

Once you're Saved(c), you will never sin again. You won't be able to. If you find yourself wanting to sin, it means that you aren't truly Saved(c). After all, if you truly believe that God impregnated His own mother with Himself, so He could come to Earth and allow Himself to be temporarily killed for three whole days and then resurrect Himself, then how could you break His laws?

That's a huge sacrifice on His part!
