    The Second Coming ?

    Help, the mockers and scoffers have thrown me into confusion. A dirty atheist pointed out that the bible clearly suggests that Jesus would return before the people living at that time died. Math. 24: 34, this generation, for example. How do I refute them ?

      You don't owe atheists an explanation for anything. They cherry-pick scripture, then demand that a Christian prove it doesn't say what it never said in the first place.

      If Jesus meant to return back in those days, He would have. Since He didn't, I'd say that proves that He didn't mean what your God-mocking aquaintance claims He meant. Jesus always wins.

      Tell them they have to read the entire Bible and give their lives over to Christ if they want to really understand the Holy Word of God.

      John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

              The next time you see him you should give him the beating of his life.

              The only reason he brought the question up to you is that the demon possessing him wants to mock God.

                  I so want to give him a thrashing, but the bible says we have to obey the laws and sadly we can't beat someone for mocking God. I'll see if I can find a verse to get around this.

                      Use the law against him, Billy.

                      Let him call you nasty, anti-Christian names. Remain calm, no matter his words. If he assaults you, don't fight back. Yes, Billy. Turn that other cheek!
