Stop asking GOD to communicate directly with you!

I'm so tired of hearing atheists whine about wanting to communicate with GOD face to face if He's real.

Well He IS real, but NO, He won't talk to you face to face! Not only does He not like you, you CANNOT see Him face to face because His brilliance is too great! Even Moses couldn't handle it!

'Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put theein a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.' -Exodus 33:20-23

So quit using lack of visible evidence as an excuse not to get to know GOD! Nobody can see Him face to face!






(except in Exodus 33:11 which says 'And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.', but GOD can do anything, even the impossible, amen?)

Amen! What a timely post, Brother! The Lord says Seek and Ye Shall Find...but never did He add a "me" to the end!

Look for Jesus, friends, before it's too late...but look with your hearts and not your eyes. Glory!

I understand what you are saying Brother Bob. However, God does communicate with me everyday. He communicates through his Word -- the KJV(1611) Bible. GLORY!!

What the atheistic monkey-worshipers don't get is that God ignores them. He has laid a stumbling block before them (Ezekiel 3:20), sent them a delusion (2 Th.2:11-12) , and is going to laugh at their pitiful pleas on Judgment Day. GLORY!

Brother B4B, I'm a little worried about where you're taking this.

My salvation through Christ's death and resurrection means I have a personal Savior who knows and cares about me personally. Yes, He does. Actually, He cared a great deal about me before I accepted Him, but He wanted to express that caring by kicking my butt into the Lake of Fire. We're past that now.

Brother Lee, I don't mean to imply that GOD is not our personal friend and savior, far from it! I was directing my argument towards atheists and so-called 'agnostics' who say they want GOD to appear to them face to face, visually. They aren't content with the awesome evidence that we see for GOD, such as butterflies, rainbows and the human eye.

I'm glad we got that cleared up, because Jesus goes everywhere with me. It turns out He's a pig for bacon cheeseburgers -- or maybe that's me. We're so close I can hardly tell the difference.

Barney, Jesus is tired of finding your car keys every time you get loaded...He told me to tell you to "find them yourself". God talks to me because I don't ask him for silly favors!
