They seek out darkness, which this literature represents. And it seems this Goth culture is merely following a long and glorious line going back to Edgar Allen Poe, the Decadence, and many others. And I heartly recommend Goth culture. There is nothing wrong with wearing black. Or talking about death. It seems like a very wholesome way going about the day.

If the message of the Gospel and our Savior Jesus Christ has not cheered you up, perhaps you should seek professional help and possibly a prescription for Prozac, Zoloft, or Wellbutrin.

It would be really nice, and a benefit to the Goth scene, if people like you would stop attempting to speak, and educate, on something you know next to nothing about. Goth is a genre of music, and a subculture built around the fans of that music. The definition of a Goth is a fan of Goth Rock. It has little, if anything, to do with religion. A Goth can belong to any religion they choose, including Christianity, as many have chosen to do. There are both Christian Goths and Christian Goth bands. Though many are Pagan or Wiccan, very few Goths are Satanists and the few that are usually are LaVeyans. Neither Pagans nor LaVeyans believe in Satan, let alone worship him. He is a Christian deity and to believe in him is in essence to be Christian. Please cease lumping all Pagans, Wiccans, and Goths into the category of Satanist, and all Goths as Satanists or anti-Christian. And eve those who are of a non Christian religion are not necessary evil. Nor is the Goth scene correctly and synonymous with drugs, self-harm, anti-socialism, mental illness, bondage, homosexuality, suicide, violence or murder. Most of the REAL Goth scene is anti-drugs; drugs are not even permitted in Goth clubs and anyone found to be using or trafficking drugs are promptly removed and banned from the majority of them. The same thing goes for violence and drama. It is simply NOT accepted within Goth clubs. Most Goths are peaceful and will only get involved in a fight if they are attacked and feel they have no other recourse but to DEFEND themselves. Everything I have read on this site and GodHatesGoths pertaining to murder or violence as evidence presented against Goths is invalid considering the people committing these crimes were NOT actually Goth/fans of Goth Rock, and the real Goth community started charities to raise money to help the families of these tragedies. As they have started or helped promote and collect for many other charities. Even the survey claiming that 50% of Goths are suicidal is invalid, considering it was done in the 90s and the people surveyed were probably ever asked first "What bands do you listen to?" Before conducting a survey that accurate reflects anything about the Goth subculture, you must discover first whether or not the people you are going to survey are in fact REAL Goths. In fact, based on those I have met and talked to, most Goths are actually not into cutting or self-harm, and have never contemplated or attempted suicide. I certainly have not, and the only friend I have who attempted to or succeeded in suicide, may have been thought to be Goth by the uninformed but, was not a fan of Goth rock; therefore, not a Goth. And I have been involved in the Baltimore, D.C, and Philadelphia Goth scenes since I was 15, and talked to many Goths all over the world on multiple forums and websites. I also do not really care much if you want to criticize and make fun of some of the teenagers posting in here to "defend Goth" or the bands/singers they are using to defend Goth, as neither these teenagers or bands/singers are actually Goth. Evanescence and Marilyn Manson in fact sound NOTHING like Goth Rock. And in fact Goths wear MANY colours. Most REAL Goths are actually in better physical condition that non-Goths, work out often, are skinny/toned, pretty, clear-skinned MODELS and very intelligent. We also do reproduce, and NOT demon children, handicapped children, or mentally ill children. At least for the latter two, no more than anyone else. I myself weigh 105lbs, have very clear skin I have been told multiple times by dermatologists is beautiful skin, am very pretty, and have a perfectly healthy and intelligent 4 year old son. Who is NOT abused in any way, shape or form. You would know all these things about the Goth scene, had you properly researched it, but alas you did not do so. Please do so now, so you will stop looking like a bunch of ignorant bigoted fools.

Sure you gave me a "direct order" to reply, with a wall post on my profile. However, I quickly discovered that, being a new user, I am unable to reply in any way whatsoever to you, since the option is disabled (I expect until a certain number of posts or maybe after a certain time frame after registering).

So in the future when you make such demands, please make such demands only with it is actually possibly for the demands to actually be followed. Like telling someone, "fly now", such a thing is impossible.

Also, if a True Christian(tm) gives you a direct order you obey it. You don't manufacture excuses like "I can't post on my wall because I'm unsaved" or

If you weren't aware, sodomy is another name for homosexuality; so you can't say "also" when it's already listed. God condemns homosexuality. we already know this.

This is very sad, to see such extremists who, instead of trying to reach the world as Jesus wanted us to, you instead say ridiculous things calling everyone a homosexual, like it's some sort of game.

You didn't read anything else I wrote did you? First of all, I am far from a child. Second of all, Goths do neither. Please RESEARCH the Goth scene, and come up with a logical argument or insult that doesn't sound like it came out of the mouth of a 12 year old child.
