Here is something for you to cemtemplate Rose....

Numbers 27:6-11: "And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 'The daughters of Zelophehad speak what is right; you shall surely give them a possession of inheritance among their father's brothers, and cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them. And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: "`If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter. If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers. If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers. And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to the kinsman closest him in his family, and he shall possess it. And it shall be to the children of Israel a statute of judgment, just as the LORD commanded Moses.''

Moses himself set up the foundation for the rights of women. A daughter inherited if there were no sons. If there were neither sons or daughters, then inheritance went to some other family member.

its a shame what these people here do to the teachings in the bible.....

if you take the bible for what its worth, a collection of myths and symbolic stories, guiding people to be good, then you get a great deal out of it.

but if when you read it you see hate and hell and damnation, then your probably one of these people and have been taught your whole life to believe something without question....you might as well stick to the Old Testament if you enjoy hatred and a jealous, malicious god.
it also seems like you all only believe in god because your afraid to do otherwise....and of course if i wasnt very smart and i was told that the all loving god was going to burn me in hell for eternity if i didnt believe in him, i would probably believe in him. but thankfully my parents were loving and nurtured my quests for knowledge without putting up a wall of religion and saying "just dont ask that" or "simple, god did it"...well how do we know god did it? "the book says". but how do we know the book is telling the truth? "oh cause the book told us its telling us the truth"....OHHHH!!! i get it now...your all right i think i have just been saved hallelujah! how could i have missed something so obvious?

I don't think so personally, or is having a different opinion on things a sin?

The Bible is full of women's rights!
Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Women are a valuable piece of property, and have the right to be recognised as such.
Deuteronomy 22:25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.
28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

Women have the right not to be raped. If they are raped while in a field, they have the right not to be executed afterwards, and if they're raped while a virgin, they have the right to marry their rapist, and not be divorced. That is how much the Bible respects women!

Tell us, little man, would you rather we lie to people about what the Bible says? That since Jesus came, none of the Old Testament applies, even though Jesus Himself said it does?

We're here to share what it really says, not what we might like it to say. Your parents (communists, I bet) taught you to question God! No wonder you turned out so hate-filled and evil!

Let's define "bad people", shall we?

Some would say that "bad people" are those who are mean to others, or selfish, or something like that. By that definition, a goth may not be bad.

By God's definition, everyone is "bad" unless they come to Him through Jesus!

EVERYONE. Mother Teresa? Bad. Prince? Bad. Siouxsie Sue? Bad. You? Bad. Me, before I had Jesus? Bad.

Goths do not follow Jesus; therefore, they are on the express train to Hell. That means, in God's eyes, they're BAD.

When it comes to the final Judgment, would you rather be BAD in God's eyes, or GOOD? I choose GOOD, so I choose JESUS!

Knowledge of sin is not required. Jesus doesn't care if you know you are a filthy sinner anymore than a policeman cares if you didn't know that you weren't supposed to rob a liquor store. Ignorance of the law is no defense.

Goths don't necessarily embrace death. Everyone knows how horrible the loss of someone dear is, including us goths. So in a way, by making death appear almost an aesthetic, through music, art and fashion, it in some ways makes it easier to cope with the reality of death.
That has nothing to do with suicide, just in case you'd like to know.
