It bothers me when a national Christian site tries to offer advice to Christians. So often these sites get mixed up about what actual Christianity is and what it is not. I came across such a posting today. It lists 20 Christian sites a family can drive to in the U.S.
Some caution is in order. Lots of these places are Catholic. Don't go to Catholic places. They are there just to persuade you Catholics are part of Christianity. There are other places that are just nice natural sites. Don't waste your vacation of these either. I will admit that after you scratch all the Catholic cathedrals and leafy sites there are not many left. But the ones that are left can make for a Godly vacation.
One is Billy Graham's home and library. Billy was a Baptist and while we at Landover thought he did not hold a candle to Pastor Zeke, he was a Baptist force.
The Ark Encounter another must see. This is an actual replica based on the same plans Noah used. Go see the Ark and cheer over the sinners who drowned.
I just list some others, One is the Bible Museum in DC. Another is the Creation Museum.
