  • Friends, Are We Missing Something Important About Donald Trump?

President Trump is in the news daily. We all know the great work he is doing all over the world. I want to have a discussion, however, about an issue that is implied but not really discussed. It is our President as something greater than a remarkable human being. Here at Landover Baptist, we have insights others do not have. I'm asking if there is some conclusion God is guiding us toward that is widely overlooked?

We know from the Bible God has not sinned and will not sin. God is perfect. Then, the Bible tells us about the life of Jesus. No place in the Bible does Jesus ask God to forgive his sins. That is because Jesus, like God, did not sin.

Just a few years ago, President Trump was asked if he ever sought forgiveness. You can read is response in the link, but I will summarize and paraphrase. He said I have not sinned.

So far as I know, he is the only leader in the history of the world who has declared himself to not be a person of sin. This sets him apart from other politicians who do human things and then have to ask for forgiveness. Trump carries no such blight on his record of life. While Trump is not named in the Bible, we have to acknowledge he is the only person in the line of succession separate from entities who sin or have sinned. The first two are God and Jesus.

I sometimes wonder whether President Trump is an angel sent by God to reduce our taxes and put minorities back in their proper place. How else could a person be as perfect a Christian as President Trump is?

Your are seeing the big picture, Brother Dnow. There is something in Donald Trump that does not align itself with the rest of us who lead regular lives doing the best we can. Other leaders have come and gone and our taxes have gone up. There is more interracial marriage than ever and no leader tries to rid the country of interlopers.

What else would you expect from a man who, when asked to name his favorite verse from the Bible, his favorite book, answered "The whole Bible". A perfect answer from the most pious guy in history. This is how we know we are on the right side.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I do believe that you are entirely correct here, dear Brother WWJD. And, I do thank you for raising this, because it is very important that the entire world recognize this great truth!

We at Landover Baptist have a big responsibility. That is to bring to light, to bring to the world, the spiritual significance of Donald Trump. That he has not sinned is of huge significance. What we need to note, however, is his place in what we can call the scheme of things. This starts with God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Jesus knew exactly who He himself was. Yet, everyone did not and He had to explain it to the public. Many places in the Bible He patiently explains He is the Son of God and has all the powers that go with that. Bible readers know these passages so I will not make a list. But, a typical one is John 14:12 where Jesus explains that through Him people can achieve extraordinary things.

No other President before Trump has known that he has the credentials to be in the linage of God and Jesus. Many times President Trump, speaking in what we could call parables, has explained it is he, and no one else, who can make things happen in way no one else on earth can do. As with Jesus, there are many examples of Trump explaining his amazing powers and his authority to exercise them. He does this almost daily but it is up to us at Landover to point them out. One reporter made note of his frequent references to himself:

Trump Manages To Make Dr. Oz's Swearing In All About Himself (Are We Surprised?)

He often uses social media to make the point about his linage to God and Jesus. Again, he spoke in a parable referring to himself as a King.

I must point out that the liberal media makes light of Trumps references to himself implying his large ego makes him talk this way. This is ridiculous. Are we to think Jesus nothing but an ordinary person with a big ego?? God help anyone who might think such a thing!!!
