    Sibling Rivalry

    I know a Christian girl. Her and her brother constantly scream at each other and even hit each other when they get to fighting. As a Christian family what should they do?

    I just don't see myself fit to help although I have been asked to. I don't quite understand them but I figured you guys might have the godly advice they seek. As I don't think them just talking it out is going to help at all.

    I just wondered how you guys would solve the problem.
    I can't do good by you people! So I give up I tried your way for change, it sucked. So now back to my way.

    What are their issues ??

    Is the girl an incipient harlot the boy is trying to save ??

      They fight about everything!

      Jessica doesn't like that her brother dates before marriage. She fears that his "virtue" is at stake as John and his girlfriend are not married. Jess says that she hates her brother's girlfriend for lying about being a virgin.

      John yells at his sister constantly for wanting to go to college. He says it is unChristian.

      They have other problems as well but those are the most they fight about.

      As you can see this is way beyond my help as they need other people like them (Christians) to help them. I just hate seeing them unhappy and breaking up their family.

        A young man needs to learn how to put a woman in her place at the earliest age possible. Now if the little wench is hitting her brother I would lock her in the woodshed with no food for a couple of days.

            He hits her for calling his girlfriend a whore. She pushes him away from her. Then she justs runs to her room.

            Their mom and my mom are good friends. We went over to their house last night. Jess and John fought almost the entire time we where there. Like I said Jess is upset that her brother is dating a girl that lied to him about being a virgin.

              Eric (their dad) just tells them to stop. Lily started to cry last night but usually she send them to different rooms.

                Well, that changes things then. Still, she should accept her brother's discipline regardless. I think a Pastor or one of the Landover Ladies should take this one.

                    Yeah right. Those kids barely do their chores let alone listen to their parents.

                    However Jessica is 19 her brother is 18.

                    They just still live with their parents.

                    Lily and Eric wont let them move out till they marry, something about family tradition......

                        Her dad is picking her husband.....

                        She can cook, clean, loves kids and supposedly she is still "pure".

                        She just fears for her brother.

                        She doesn't want him to go to hell or whatever.

                          Why are you imposing this unsaved teen drama on God's favorite forum? If they have parents, then it is their responsibility to deal with these uppity kids. The boy should be over in Iraquistan sending mudslime demons to hell for Jesus right now, and his sister should be tending to her third child.
