Who are the good guys?

So after reading the bible, I've got a question.

If god is the good guy then why does he kill more than 20,000 people in the bible? Satan only kills about 20, which seems to make him 1000 times better than god.

Also, it would be just like the plan of an evil one to try to convince you that they are actually the good guy ( and god has certainly convinced you lot of that)

So could it be that the satanists are actually the good ones, and you have been duped by god, with the promises of heaven (just like muslims are tempted to heaven by the 40 virgins)

The funniest thing about all of this is that noone really knows, because if the bible is false then god isn't going to tell anyone that, he's going to keep you all brainwashed, following his evil ways to the letter, when satan is trying to save you from the evil, and being slated by god (much like palin in the liberal press)

So, what do you think? Im more interested to know specifically how you know god is god, rather than just pretending that way to fool you. and yes, the bible would be one of the ways he would try to fool you.

God is recorded as having slaughtered over 2 MILLION people in the Bible. Satan kills 10.

However, as Brother Levi and Brother Jeb have pointed out, God kills over 234,000 people each and every day. After all, He is the Creator. He is omniscient (all-knowing) and omnipotent (all-powerful). That means He knows exactly who is going to die, how, and when. He can also change that. The fact that He doesn't means that it is His Will that millions of children starve or die of dysentery each year, that women are beaten to death by their non-Christian husbands, and that evil people like Lance Armstrong and that breast cancer woman get horrible cancers.
