Female and enlisting in the service?

Hey brothers and sisters in Christ,

I've been lurking y'alls forums for awhile and there's certainly some interesting information to be found. It's given me a lot of food for thought. I'm curious though, on what the True Christian perspective on a woman enlisting is/would be. I'm currently a sophomore in university, and am excited, on fire, what have you about enlisting in our Marine Corps in a fee months. This is something I've given serious thought and prayer to, & truly feel like God's guiding me in this direction. Any thoughts from the folks at Landover?

Well Bless your little heart. I suppose the Marines need a few cute girls for secretaries. Can you brew a decent cup of coffee?

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

I shall indeed head over to the Intro forum momentarily...as for coffee, I tend to avoid caffeine. But every Marine, women included, is combat-trained. Though the MOS I'm hoping for is something comparable to a translator 'in the field', also dealing with radio equipment and such. I'm very proud of our Marines, and hope to be one myself in the forseeable future.

Don't you think the Air Force or maybe the Coast Guard would be better equipped to handle your mood swings and periods? Not to sound rude but combat is no place to have your dirty time.
Intel is where you belong and if you do a good job maybe you can be making coffee and taking notes for a General someday. Good luck.

I imagine it gets mighty cold and lonely over there in Afghanistan. Those brave men could use something warm and soft to pass around the tent for cuddling purposes. If only more girls were as generous as you are. God forbid they take little orphaned Afghan girls as temp wives (which is their God given right). Hopefully, a fist full of you every night will be enough to remind them of the real women back home. Just remember that they aren't all Christians men so keep your wits about you and wear a chasity belt at all times. Will any more of your female classmates be joining you. I figure you'll be pretty busy hopping from lap to lap all day if you're the only female over there. You'll need some time to make coffee, do the laundry, take phone calls and keep the tent dust free. And that can be a full time job in itself over in a dusty shithole like Afghanistan.

And as Brother Wiseman pointed out, you may want to consider the Air Force. Unless you like being treated like shit and have no problems with being raped by bull dyke hardcore "female" marines, then by all means join the Corp. The Air Force is more for softies with all their uppity high standards of living and whatnot.

Well, I think the idea of you finding a radio station with Godly music or sermons for our soldier boys when they are on leave is a very touching idea. But I think you are going to find that many of then have had enough time in the out of doors and might be happier in a nice five star hotel. Maybe you could bake them a nice pie instead?

Re: Female and enlisting in the service?

Thanks to that Liberal Bill Clinton allowing fags and women in the military I can tell you personally that there are females in the services. In the Marines they are few and far between and in most cases hard to tell from the men. They tend to be beefy and stout with short hair and large biceps. I can't recall ever meeting an attractive one or one that I'd consider pretty. None of them wear proper make up or dresses. They seem to blend in and act like the men.
I don't know what thats called.

Pretty much. They get a medal for completing basic training and all they do is fold underwear and march for a few hours each day. And if you fold underwear better than everybody else in your flight you get another medal. If the deploy somewhere with other services they stay in hotels while the Army or Marines are in a makeshift tents. It's the perfect service for a woman. If she's pretty she'll go far.

I'm actually...not interested in baking a pie or making coffee for my superiors. Unless it was a direct order, which I'd find a bit strange. At one point I was considering the Air Force but when I found out my tattoos were waiverable (there's a bible verse and a 'semper fi' that might be visible in PT gear), I'm now thrilled that I can go through heck at basic training and prove myself. I'm not a dyke. I like men, preferably the godly ones. I also don't see how I could be raped by a female Marine. But I'm pretty darn aware of the dangers. I wouldn't be enlisting if I wasn't willing to die for my country.

Try not to turn into a dyke when they surround you in the shower and attempt to convert you.
Of all the branches you can join the Marines is the toughest so prepare for that before you ship out. It isn't a ladies social club.

Re: Female and enlisting in the service?

You do know basic for women in all the military services is nothing like what a man has to do. You learn cooking and cleaning just like in home Eck only you have to do it in tents and use manual can openers (no electric ones on the front lines). You will still be expected to greet the grunts after a hard day of snuffing towel heads and other undesirable non-Christians. One I'll give you is it pays to have your makeup on and greet the men with a cold beer upon their arrival. Do not complain about their dirty shoes or about your petty problems. They are the ones doing real work, let them unwind. Allow then to unload their burdens on you. That is what you are there for.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

That's not what we're saying. You'll be warming the laps, making coffee and maybe even baking pies for those of lower and equal rank as well. Perhaps another route you can take is as a nurse of some sort. Do Marines even have medics or do they just suck it up?

At one point I was considering the Air Force but when I found out my tattoos were waiverable (there's a bible verse and a 'semper fi' that might be visible in PT gear),
Yes, they are waiverable. At least you won't have to worry about the ASVAB. All you have to do to be a marine is spell your name right and you're golden.

I'm not a dyke. I like men, preferably the godly ones.
What godly man is going to want a woman who thinks she's a man?

The clitoris of a bull dyke is larger than that of a normal woman. All their time spent trying to be men has wrought physical changes. I have not verified this, and God willing I never will, but I heard that the fake female wrestler China has a larger clitoris that most mens' tallywhackers. There was even a bull dyke who used to post on these forums who would sodomize her smaller effiminate husband with her clitoris.

Perhaps she can close her eyes and hum a Bible verse while she is being violated.

Re: Female and enlisting in the service?

Oh dear. I'm sorry if I'm stepping out of bounds here, but I know some Marines/Airmen who would be very offended by y'alls estimations of them. One has to do a LOT more than 'just be able to spell your name' to become a Marine. Men and women candidates get 13 weeks of physical training. The ONLY difference is that men train separately from women, women get by with flexed armhangs instead of pull-ups, and women get 2 minutes more to run 3 miles for their initial strength test. anyone going into the service (yes, this includes women Marine candidates) had to take the ASVAB.

And no, Marines dont have medics. Well--they sort of do; Navy corpsmen serve as medics since the Corps is technically department of the navy. I just verified this with my best friend who's a lance corporal. I don't think I'm a man. I'm getting the general impression that there are some people very misinformed about women's roles in the military. Whatever God wants our roles to be at home, that is NOT what the government has dictated as the woman's role as a Marine/soldier/member of the air force.

I'm getting the impression that while this is something my friends, church, and family generally support (...with the exception of my Marine friend, darn him), that the true Christians would disagree with this. Yet I pray to god...same christian god...and get a different answer. Why is that?
