  • Help me understand something

    Maybe someone can help me here. I was told to take the bible word for word and I am wondering if maybe jesus and pals have been in hell all this time. Hear me out before you try to discredit me right away;

"But anyone who says 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." (Jesus) Mat 5:22

    "You fools!" (Jesus) Luke 11:40

"You blind fools!" (Jesus) Mat 23:17

"How foolish you are" (Jesus) Luke 24:25

"But God said to him, 'You fool!' " (Jesus) Luke 12:20

"You foolish Galatians!" (St. Paul) Galatians 3:1

    "You foolish man" James 2:20
(Also - Psalms 14:1 and again at 53:1 - you have to think me a fool because I have said in my heart that there is no God - oops, both of us in hell now!)

Discredit you no, I would never.

Why do these idiots come on a CHRISTAN website, refuse the read the FAQs and wonder why we could care less about them. They simply fail to realize........ wait for it........ they have demonstrated they could care less about us and like little babies, want to be the center of the universe and have us answer a question when we know them from, well, Adam.
Your first post is on the wrong thread.

    Thanks!

Failure to heed this warning will bring God's vengeance upon you!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Son, you don't know very much about the Bible and God and His precious Son, Jesus Christ, who served as the propriation for our sins, do you?

Here's how it works: You're sinful; Jesus wasn't; God HATES sin but loves a fragrant sacrifice. By offering up Himself as a sacrifice on our behalf, Jesus descended into Hell, but then rose from the dead, such that, He now sits at God's right hand.

Which means the verses you cite are 100% true, as demonstrated by Jesus Himself.

        I hope that helps.

          Re: Help me understand something

Not only that, but you need to understand that unless and until you are Saved(r), you have no hope of comprehending God's Holy word. Your father is satan.

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father.
