HELP!!! I read something gay

I was doing some reading for school "The picture of Dorian gray" by Oscar Wilde and after I had finished the book I learned from one of my friends that the author was gay! What do I do about this? I didn't know he was gay before I read the book but now I do and I feel dirty all over. I have asked for forgiveness thousands of times, but I still fell dirty after even touching that queer literature. What can I do to feel clean again? please help me.

Really? Homosexuality is the whole theme of that book! You're either lying or you really didn't read it properly. I can't say your english skills can be very good if you only realised when a friend said the author was gay? The whole damn book is about gay love and sex it should have been the first thing your teacher said about it. That book was used as evidence when wilde was held in court for sodomy so the homosexuality is quite obvious.
