From an earlier Email: Dear Mother Glendora, The Lord wants me to be accepting, acquiescent and under my husband's control. But lately I have been weak and find myself struggling within God's plan. You see, my husband keeps asking me to give him a wounded pigeon, but I lack the courage to follow through. Thanks for your advice, Worried in Wichita.

Dear Worried in Wichita, I can't imagine what you husband plans to do with a wounded pigeon. Unless he wants a bird that can't fly away? Anyway, our Lord Jesus Christ wants you to honor your husband's wishes . . . I am reminded of 1 Corinthians, CH 11:3...

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

...anyway, I don't see what the fuss is all about, but maybe some other folks from our church might have something to add. CONCERNED GLENDORA

        A wounded pigeon???
        This makes no sense whatsoever.
        Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Brothers in Christ, those of you with womenfolk nearby will want to shoo them out of the house when you take a look at THIS link, which explains the demand this husband is making of his Godly wife....I'm not sure what the problem is. If a man needs to break his wife's arm, Jesus wouldn't intervene I'm sure.

I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh.--Proverbs 1:26

I stopped looking up strange words because they are satanic traps!
The words in the Bible are enough for me.
            Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Sweet Baby Jesus! I knew one of our brilliant men of God would figure this whole thing out. No wonder "Worried in Wichita" is so very worried. But I do believe our Lord Jesus Christ has spoken about a woman's duty to obey her husband. Of course, there is the occasional gun cleaning accident, for those extreme cases.
