As some of you may know, I happen to be blessed with twin boys, praise Him! However, my husband, sweet man he is, insisted we get a maid to do the housework so that i don't hurt the babies continuing with my work into my pregnancy. I am only about six months in, and when I tried to protest he forbade me from being in the house while she cleans. So now, every day I have some strange woman in my house cleaning while I'm out with my husband while he runs errands.
I am so upset. I don't mind and am in fact grateful that he wants to help the babies grow properly, but now I'm only cooking twice a day, TWICE! And I have no control over not only my main duty as a wife, but my favorite activity ( behind prayer and reading His word)! It bothers me...And i'm positive I'm a bother to my husband, when we go into the bank or the hardware store and there I am round and clutching my bible in one hand and the back of his shirt in the other like some overfed puppy.
Perhaps there is something I could do to occupy myself without thinking of my housework? Or being less of an annoyance to my wonderful Johnathan?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, i know I'm a bit of a whiner, and i apologize for that.
Thanks for listening.
