    rapture guilt?

I'm new here and trying to feel my way around and would like to bare my soul right away:
We (the US) could give Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and maybe Afganistan a whole big bunch of amazing Nucular Missles which they would immediately launch on Israel. Israel immediately retaliates and we experience the blessed Armageddon and rapture - life on Earth ends and the heathens go to Hell. How perfectly marvelous right? Who wouldn't want that?

    Well,,,,,,
I can't help but feel some guilt for all the little puppies, bunnies and kitties that would be reduced to ash along with the rest of us - O Glory!
Am I being selfish and shallow for that concern?
They're Gods' little creations and we are the caretakers of this Earth and must love all the little creatures (that's Gods' words, not mine) so is the Rapture Hope an affront to Gods' wishes?

I just don't know what to think here and sometimes feel guilty when I pray that the World is incinerated tonight.
Help me, Good People of Landover, help me come to terms with my (sometimes) gnawing guilt.

Stop flogging yourself, and repent of your demonic ways. That's the best advice I can offer you boy.

Have you ever read the Holy Bible? Can you quote the scriptures that deal with the Rapture?

I don't feel the least bit guilty about the idea of unsaved scum being sent to the everlasting torment the so richly deserve. It's all in Jesus' loving hands. GLORY!!
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Thank you Pastor Ezekiel for the rich advice regarding flogging - I'll miss the self whipping tho!

I have a confession to make re reading the Bible: when I was young, I went to Catholic Schools, Churches, Bible Study and of course took Communion and Confession every week. Lots of guilt, worthlessness, derision and beatings from the Blessed Nuns and Priests - in front of the class of course.
All my friends and most family were Baptists and there were more Bible studies, weekly savings, repentance, etc...and my brain suffered severe damage with the merging of these 2 faiths. I was one step away from bursting into flames and to this day, I cannot touch the Good Book. I haven't read from the Bible in 40 years and am the living proof of the awesome power of a single unworthy soul bridging 2 faiths and nearly exploding!! Glory! But it's a small sacrifice.

So, I have to rely on things told to me by trusted sources now. I recall a Biblical reference to the Rapture/Armageddon/End of Times destiny for us believers and lately have heard of the "Left Behind" series of fine literature so was intrigued by the notion (of a world of ash) but have that smidgen of guilt for the puppies, bunnies, etc. Any advice for the guilt or shouldn't we be gifting Nucular Missles to the right people - for a change?

But truly, my Priest and Pastor warned me long ago to never touch a Religious Tract or Bible lest I immolate and for that shameful loss I have whipped myself daily for nearly 40 years. I can actually feel my body temp rise when Mormons or Evangelicals approach my door!
