Are you married (I have to assume so since you have a child!)?
If so, are these thoughts originating from your heart?

I guess we need to ask, "where do dreams come from" to find out if you are commiting adultery or not. That is, do dreams come from the heart or somewhere else?

If they come from your heart, then you probably are commiting adultery and might need to talk to your pastor. I mean, if a guy cant commit adultery in his heart, then women surely cant.

It would seem to me that you are indeed committing adultery and need absolution. A healthy tithe will certainly put you in better favor with Jesus, I am sure -- along with repentance. Speak with a pastor at once!

The other day I was thinking about John 8, and the woman caught in the act of adultery. John 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

Then, Jesus let the woman go.

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

So, if you remember in Matthew 5:28, Jesus says if you think about having sex with someone it could be adultery; but then He let the adulteress off, without a warning... so... we see that Jesus was against the death penalty for adultery.

My only question about this story is:

Where was the man who the woman was having the adultery? If the crowd brought a woman caught in the very act, why didn't they also bring the man to be stoned?
