Yes it's dreadful. These atheistic, communistic, sensualist fools are driven by satan's agenda and would have the bride assert her "independence" and obtain some sort of divorce. Clearly an anullment is out of the question, Mrs Portway being a Godly woman - subject to her bearing the current owner (Mr Portway)'s sons - but if these heathens were successful what would be the outcome then?
