Re: What the Bible says about polygamy

Oh my, I've such a quandary regarding this subject. I do believe that a man should be able to have as many wives as he is able to support, but on the other hand, by doing so, he may have his hands full. One wife, if chosen properly, should be enough to maintain the home, bear and take care of an ample number of fine Christian Soldiers and take wonderful care of her husband and any needs he may have.

But bringing more wives into the household would divide up the chores so as most of the women would have some leisure time and you know what can happen when one is idle for any length of time.

But then, the "idle" time would give the women even more time to study the Bible, but the man would have to keep a close eye on all of his wives to make sure that none were allowing their minds to stray.

From what I've seen nowadays, there are so many wayward women running around, that one might be hard pressed to find several good Christian women to betroth. And training a handful might be, well, a handful.

              Mary
Recognition, sorrow, confession, forgiveness, restitution, forsaking the sin.
The Lord forgives me of my sin.

Maybe I WANT to burn in Hell, bitch. If you guys really ARE going to Heaven, I'd rather be in Hell. You're all crazy religious nuts, just like Carrie's mom in "Carrie." I love that movie, but the Chucky movies and "The Omen" are better.

Ah, all atheists say that. I promise, you'll change your mind once you get there.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

angels and Miss April, I think you'll find, a lot of the 'catchy' screen names are created by little immature boys. They are all little sticky spots in the gutter of life and should be avoided as one does not want to get any on the soul.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

An atheist would not say that, they don't believe in heven or hell. It would be the same as you saying I want to walk on Mars.
