    It is already in my daily prayers.
    O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.



    God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

      Are you so unschooled in Scripture(r) that you know not of Britain's Foretold DAMNATION?!?!?!

      Do you honestly have the GALL to question the Will O' God(tm)?

      For as it is written, concerning the British, in the Book of Isaiah, chapter 34, verse 14: "The desert creatures will meet with the wolves, The hairy
      wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts OF THE ISLAND, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest ..."

      Britain, that ISLAND of SIN, shall be CAST DOWN and filled with hairy beasts, satyrs, and screech owls! Such is the Mighty Vengeance (pat. pending) of GAWD!

        Dear Son of Sam:

        Please learn to quote the Bible correctly, i.e., only the real version (the KJV) and only in its correct context. As it is, your cherry-picking of those Scripture verses that suit you and your emphasis on "hairy wild beasts of the island" make it sound as though you are just a little too obsessed with some homer "bear" club on (un)Man(ly)hattan Island.
        This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

          As I suspected, SATAN is very much ALIVE and WELL here at Landover.

          You, sir, are no Mod for God! And your own infatuation with 'cherry picking' was no doubt derived from many a Witch's Sabbat spent KISSING THE VERY ARSE OF LUCIFER HIMSELF!

          If you had the Spirit of Discernment God gives the least of His children, you'd hear the Truth in my selection of Scripture -- but I guess you don't hear too well with SATAN'S LONG TONGUE IN YOUR EAR!

            I must protest

            Never have I read, from those anointed to lead us in this forum, more than the truth and caring for those who have not forgoten the Godly FEAR of our LORD.

            Often, as they have done in your case, I would be tempted to reproach too lenient a treatment... BUT THEY KNOW BEST!

            Furthermore the island if it were Britain then our prayers have been answered before time itself for in the same Isaiah (35:2) in the ONE KJB it is written...

            "Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
            "
