  • Pray for Tristan Rettke, jailed for feeding hungry Negroes

This is one of the worst cases of persecution I have ever read about. A big-hearted young Christian brought bushels of fruit to a Negro gathering, hoping to feed some of the shufflers whose food stamps had run out. With racial tensions high, he thoughtfully wore a Negro mask to put them at ease.

No good deed goes unpunished. Thug Lives Matter racists were enraged by the presence of a white man among them. Police arrested Tristan, invoking an obscure law against "civil rights intimidation"—in other words, the crime of being white. A college student with a bright future, he now sits in a jail cell, where hulking, glistening bucks are no doubt staring at him, licking their lips, and muttering about "fresh meat." They may even be raping him this very moment.

Please join me in praying that the charges are dropped and this young man returns home safe and sound. Should his institution expel him, I would love to see him given a full scholarship to LBU.

An East Tennessee State University student was arrested Wednesday after going to a Black Lives Matter protest on campus wearing a gorilla mask and handing out bananas.

Tristan Rettke, an 18-year-old freshman, wore overalls and a gorilla mask and, wandering barefoot while holding a burlap sack with a Confederate flag and a marijuana leaf on it, offered bananas to students who were protesting, according to a report by ETSU police. He was arrested and charged with civil rights intimidation.

According to campus police, after being read his rights Rettke told officers that a couple of days earlier he had seen on social media that there would be a Black Lives Matter event in the “free speech” area of Borchuck Plaza on the Johnson City, Tenn., campus. He said he went to a store Tuesday to buy rope to tie to a bunch of bananas. While there he also bought the mask and brought it all to the event on Wednesday.

Stupidity in action. Claims BLM doesn't mean all lives don't matter (even though the slogan only refers to blacks), but fails to grasp that ALM includes black lives, which it does by definition. These people are literally too dumb to know the meaning of the word "all." How can anyone take them seriously?

    Praying

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I am a humble young man; no one here would dispute that statement. However, as a certified equine gnathologist, future veterinarian, future equine psychoanalyst, and PhD in Creation Science, I have to call you out, Mr. Osterman.

Let us not forget the story of Lot in the Holy Bible - which is the authoritative source of information about absolutely everything. When the visitors to Sodom/Gomorrah (which was the Minneapolis/St Paul of its day, without the Mall of America) were in danger of sexual assault by the queers and other democrat residents of those twin cities, Lot was generous enough to offer them an alternative. He offered his daughters to be raped so his visitors could get a good night's sleep and not have to spend the rest of the night washing the juices of these sodomites out of their nether regions. To that I say: "Hooray! What a thoughtful man."

So yes, men can be raped - as the visitors (angels, by the way) almost were.

Why did God allow Lot to offer his daughters, and why did He allow them to commit incest? Sometimes God gives us His reasons for doing something but not very often. The more we get to know God, the more we understand Him and His reasons for doing things. Sometimes. In general, we understand the way our LORD handles sticky situations. But, again, this doesn’t always happen. We must be very careful when we ask why God does something and be sure we are not calling into question God Himself, His judgment, His character, and His very nature. Why is this?

Well, as the Bible tells us - and of course, the Bible is written by God Himself, so it is perfect - the psalmist tells us, “As for God, His way is perfect” (Psalm 18:30). If God’s ways are “perfect,” then we can trust that whatever He does—and the reason for whatever He allows—is also perfect. This may not seem possible to us, but our minds are not God’s mind. It is true that we can’t expect to understand His mind perfectly, as He reminds us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8–9). Sounds like a haughty thing to say considering we are expected to love Him. Nevertheless, our responsibility to God is to obey Him, to trust Him, and to submit to His will, whether we understand it or not, whether it makes sense or not, and whether we like it or not. He IS God, after all. Glory!

So I state again: yes, men can be raped, even if it doesn't happen frequently except in the catholic church and certain prisons.

Good things can come of these situations. You may or may not know that the origin of salt is linked to the story of Lot. It also shows the inability of women to follow simple directions, but I digress.

When the LORD GOD chose to destroy Sodom/Gomorrah as He will San Francisco, Key West, Los Angeles, and Branson some sweet day, He told Lot and his family to get out of Dodge and not to look back. So what does Lot's nattering wife do? She looks back, and instantly becomes a pillar of salt that is later mined and planted so more salt can grow later. (Gen 19:26)

The next time you are tempted to make silly statements about rape, I highly advise you to follow this scripture: (Luke 17:32)

        COME, LORD JESUS! (Rev. 22:12)
        BrotherLarry
        Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
        Amen and Amen

Dear Mr. Osterman, you have made a stupid statement. Actually, you have made many stupid statements. The one quoted above is patently false.

Now, I could trot out the time-honored story of Lot, but I don't want to be accused of copying BrotherLarry, or of not being able to think for myself, so let's examine these few verses from the 19th chapter of the book of Judges.

22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.

What we see here is vivid illustration that men can, indeed, be raped. We are also shown that this is a horrible thing to have happen to one's guests-- an utterly vile thing, as the text plainly states.

As for the maiden daughter and the concubine, well, while some people might consider gang rape (of females) to be discomfiting, the fact is that no where in the Bible is it expressly forbidden or condemned.

If you have an opportunity to read the entire story, you won't encounter even a whiff of editorial suggestion that the gentlemen host was in any way censured or penalized for his actions--not even a visit from Social Services.

Actually, the way that the tale unfolds is the house guest basically throws his concubine to the crowd. Mind you, the earlier narrative mentions that she had "played the whore" against him, so really, what did you expect?'

Now there is no specific mention of whether he had himself a good night's sleep, or if the maiden daughter of the homeowner smashed that "World's Greatest Dad" coffee mug that she had set aside for Father's Day. (Sorry for the levity; I know that coffee isn't mentioned in the Bible.) What is mentioned is that the trampy concubine was found dead on the doorstep the next morning by her husband/owner.

If memory serves, he nudges her first, to see if she's just sleeping it off, then when he realizes that she's dead-- well, then the story gets serious. But, hey, I don't want to give away the ending, go read it for yourself.

One of the main themes of this book of the Bible is that the people of Israel are doing evil and God doesn't like it, (does He ever?) but the resolution of the gang-raped-to-death concubine story doesn't concern her fate at all.

The real issue that needs to be dealt with is that--after some serious carnage against the tribe of Israel to which the concubine's rapists belonged-- some male members of said tribe are left without wives! Now,this is a major problem, because clearly one of the tribes can't be permitted to just disappear, (God did make promises, after all.) A sensible solution is proposed when about 400 virgins from some conveniently placed town are captured to become brides for those lonely fellows. Naturally, all the men of the town have to be slaughtered, as well as any women who "hath lain by man."

Now, that must have been a logistical nightmare. Obviously, any pregnant woman or one with a baby at her breast could easily be identified as non-virginal and killed with efficiency. But having to stop and perform pelvic exams in the middle of a battle? Well, no one said that living up to God's Word was easy.

And that is why most people make so little effort. They would much rather ignore all the parts of the Bible that present a challenge to their personal sensibilities--something the Bible doesn't allow.

          John 12:48

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

At this point in my reply I really should apologize--clearly I have strayed off topic. And as a True Christian woman I have responsibilities as a hostess of sorts on this forum. Moreover, the Bible demonstrates in no uncertain terms that it is very important to be a good host.

Therefore, I will be more kindly in my reproval. You are mistaken, Mr. Osterman-- not to accuse you of being stupid,--but men can be raped.

It says so in the Bible.

          Graciously Yours,

          Handmaiden

Men can be sodomized. They can't be raped. Rape is the ultimate exercise in patriarchal power, and all men benefit from patriarchy, so they cannot be victims of it in the same way that women can. Men who force other men into sex are acting out toxic masculinity, but they are not drawing on centuries of brutal and inherently coercive gender power dynamics. As for female-on-male rape, there is simply no such thing. It is an MRA myth.

When a man is penetrated against his will, it is certainly a violation, but to call it rape undermines the severity of patriarchal violence and erases women's oppression. Say that he is sodomized. (Please note that the word "sodomize" is a queerphobic slur when used to describe consensual sex.)

              Alex,
Are you related to the Osterman's in Brooklyn Heights? I know they had a son who was sent away because they were tired of the neighbors asking what was wrong with him.

I'm sure you don't care about the law, but rape and sodomy are not treated the same in the criminal justice system. They can have similarities and they can be interrelated, but I have personally represented men who were RAPED, not SODOMIZED.

One of these was a prisoner at Riker's who was raped by another prisoner. The laws didn't describe what happened as sodomy. I think as a Jew I know a thing or two about Sodom and as a lawyer I know a thing or two about sodomy.

You seem to really like yourself. That's great.

I may not be this forum's favorite son, but something tells me your rants aren't exactly on their top ten list either. Why not find a rabbi and discuss some of your misconceptions and misperceptions with him (or her)? A little time with the Torah and you may better understand civil law also. Judaic scholars have been teaching the truth for a long time as we await the messiah yet to come.

People these days, persecuting for no good reason.
The good thing is, I now have a prayer list that can reach the ceiling! And I remember to pray for each thing on the list during my spare time.
I'm so glad that God gave the gift of prayer! If it didn't exist, I'd probably be spending my free time goofing off.

I'd like to think that this fine upstanding young man Tristan Rettke was also protesting the teaching of EVILoution in today's secular institutions that hate Jesus. Lord knows these BLM nigras are always searching for their "roots", and seem to be delighted when they find some disease infested squalor in Africa where their ancestors came from. I can't see them getting upset by being faced with Darwinism and the monkeys humankind supposedly descended from - but go figure.

As to "civil rights intimidation" - I suppose it's some kind of new "politically correct" notion of "appropriating" nigra gorilla banana culture.

Re: Pray for Tristan Rettke, jailed for feeding hungry Negroes

This sad incident is an example of the destructive policy, one which is embraced by the left, of feeding those who will not feed themselves. There can be no doubt that the preferred diet of the Negroe (fried chicken, McDonalds hamburgers and other loathsome, greasy foods) is the reason that most Negroes become so fat and unsightly. Those who seek to help them by improving their diet with the addition of fresh foods, including fruit and vegetables, cannot expect gratitude. Rather they must endure the anger of those they seek to help. In this case, the victuals were so unwanted that the Negroes called for the Good Samaritan's arrest. I believe this is clear evidence that the current policy of prohibiting aerial bombardment in the US should be revisited.
