I think the Special Olympics are terrific. I take my kids to it. I remind them that if not for the Grace of God© it could be one of them out there, making fools of themselves.



Though I have to say, it is boring. After all, you see one retard, you've seen them all. I'd like to see some more interesting feats. Like running and carrying a pan full of burning gasoline with the other team swing bats that them to force a spill.

With a little ingenuity, they could turn it around and have it be a profit making endeavor to benefit the Church and please God. Because at the end of the day, is it not accommodating Jesus what it is all about?

I've had such mixed feelings about the Tardolympics.


My Christian nature tells me we should celebrate when people without the same advantages as us do something. But they are such an embarrassment to see their drooling and often mongoloid faces prancing around on television. I mean, other countries judge us from what they see on the news - and I can't imagine they admire us for celebrating someone's low IQ.


I hope the organization that holds this event will tone it down a lot. Perhaps it could be held in some obscure town in West Virginia where they would likely find most of their contestants anyway. In the spirit of Christian love, perhaps the church could send $20 or so to give them some cookies or crackers. Anything more seems like it's a waste of money that could go to the pastor's airplane or restocking of houseboys.


I just keep remembering: "Bodily exercise profiteth little." Why should we support it then - especially for those who can't appreciate it properly?

Or a little over a mile of The Wall! I am basing this on the fact that $1 billion of military funding has been transferred by the Pentagon to the Wall Fund and it is estimated that this will pay for about 57 miles of Wall.

It could be a little bit more if you employ the now unemployed disabled athletes and coaches on building the Wall. We know they will accept to work for less money than the average union worker, and if you can shoot a basket ball from your wheel chair, you can put a brick over the other, come on!

it has taken a lot of time but my new hero miss Betsy DeVos, who runs the Education Department, has decided to cut the 18 million dollars that the government spends on the Special Olympics. That money could pay for 4 trips to Mar a Lago for president Trump.
