  • Pray that my father dies

Mother called to tell me that father is in the hospital this evening with about a 30 percent chance of pulling through. If he passes away I will inherit the car dealerships and all the money that goes along with them, which will add to my tithing value.
While his illness is likely due to his papist lifestyle (God's punishment is strict and true), Mother reacted by having a priest give him last rites. I would go to the hospital to be with them but I want to catch the rerun of Kirk Cameron's movie "Left Behind."
Anyway, pray for my father and that the will stands up in court.

How can it not be God's will for me to give money - that has previously gone to the Roman Catholic Church - to Pastor Zeke in furtherance of the ministries of LBC? I can't think of any reason.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Well, apparently no one cared enough to pray, despite the Bible's command (James 5:14).

Dad is now expected to fully recover, and I continue to dig into my trust fund to purchase household needs from Fingerhut.

I rebuke all of you in Jesus' Name. This doesn't mean my love for you is gone; I love with an everlasting love, just as my Jesus does. But I am pretty darn pissed off.

I care, and I prayed, Brother Larry, as did all my children who are old enough to speak. However, I wonder if the reason that God did not act as you perhaps wished was that your instructions were less than entirely clear?

Anyway, pray for my father and that the will stands up in court.
We weren't sure what precisely you were asking for in the first half of the prayer, so we just prayed for your father in a non-specific way. But perhaps, when God heard the second part, He realized that the will (as it is currently written) would not stand up in court, and He chose (in His Infinite Wisdom) to give your father time to clarify matters?

In the meantime, we will all pray for you. I hope this is acceptable?

      In Christian love, dear,
