Re: Pray that Hurricane Irma doesn't hit Mar-o-lago and completely destroy it

Praise Jesus! The Lord knows His own. He taketh out the crummier nations first, so may there be glory to the Master Nation; USA. Why else would he spare President Trump's mansion? The flood waters will recede taking those savage Carrabeaners out into the sea, and Trump will build more mansions to extend God's kingdom!

Numbers 14:12 "I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they."

Atheist comedian Bill Maher muses that the fact that none of Trump's properties were damaged by hurricane Irma indicates "There Is No God". Get a clue Bill - what are the chances without the intervention of Jesus?

The pattern is obvious. Where homers have been banned, God steered the storm to miss. The President's home has never hosted homers.

Incontrovertible proof of God's existance and His anointment of Donald Trump as our president!

Though it is confusing that He spared all the six-toed cats.

President Trump's $17 million "chateau" on the Caribbean island of St. Martin survived Hurricane Irma nearly unscathed, unlike the rest of the French/Dutch island — and in contrast to the fate suffered by other celebrities' properties in the path of the monster storm still raging in Florida.

The handicraft on that bustier is sub par. The stripes don't match at the seams and the facing can be seen peaking up above the bodice edge. Just how is that "Gay Pride"?

I think God has decided the most sinful place in Florida is Tampa. He has changed Erma's direction and Tampa now is the bull's eye. Tampa has the biggest gay resort in all of Florida. Guess what is comin' at you, Tampa:http://www.flamingofla.com/

Brilliant insight, Professor White. President Trump's life does mirror the Bible's Job. President Trump has suffered only to be later rewarded for his suffering.

It's time for the federal government to step up and replace holiday homes of millionaires who are the President. Where will he sleep tonight?! Another $7.5B ought to cover the transition costs while he and his family fly around the world scouring for a new holiday home - it could take months.
    Dear Colleague in Christ,

I think that there may be one or two reasons for this mishap on the part of Jesus.

    i) Conflicting Prayers by True Christians™
While we know that sinner-prayers are futile and totally useless...
    John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not
sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

...we can also be certain that Jesus fulfills all True Christian™ requests. Obviously, these request cannot have conflicting interests when it comes to God's Master Plan but they may collide in details. Two pious men can give Jesus slightly different orders as follows:
    1. Please, Baby Jesus, smite all the sinners with Thy Hurricane as Thou hast promised to Thy People.
    2. Dear Jesus Christ, do not let any harm to fall upon our Godly President Donald.

The result can be that if there are any sinner servants in Trums's household (to be taught the Way of Jesus because of the Merciful (Jonah 4:2) manner of our POTUS), the mansion is attacked while preserving the physical integrity of the Donald who is at the crucial moment engaged elsewhere. This leads us to the second option, that of...

    ii) Collateral damage
It is unavoidable and as hinted in a previous post by my Colleague in Christ, the Book of Job is a nice precedent of the President's situation.

To show Satan how True Christians™ cannot be persuaded to abandon God, Jesus allowed lots of damage on Job's property!

    Job 1:18-19
While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Job lost lots of valuables including his spouse, children and even his livelyhood. This was to show Satan that the best of us will never join him. But Job got ample recompensation. A new family and a much better one! Even more riches and opulence. We can be sure that the Donald will have a better mansion if the present one is damaged.

In fact, it has started. The Donald used to have a relatively nice wife.

Now He has a gorgeous one!

Similar to Job, President Trump has suffered incredibly in the hands of unbelievers. Still, collateral damage on offspring or even real estate is peanuts, they can easily be recycled.

    Job 42:12
So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

The Lord will bless Donald Trump. If He loses one ass, He will have a thousand asses from Jesus to replace the lost ones.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

While praying can help, it only serves to let God know what you'd like, not what he has planned. None of us (other than a Pastor or Mr. Trump) can possibly know what God has planned.
While The Donald's place in Florida is an award winning golfing resort, it does not mean it could be even better with a swipe of Gods hand and a fat insurance check.
I will say I am thrilled at the prospect of all the illegals being sent back out to sea much like what God did during the Great Flood.

I wondering if we here in Freehold could start an international fund drive to replace this Trump family home. I think people across the world who love the President would contribute.

While I'm not a theologian, it seems to me a donation to fund a new home for the Trumps would qualify as a tithe.

I truly believe that Jesus will cause the eye of the hurricane to pass directly over Mar a Lago, and thus spare it any damage.

A ferocious Hurricane Irma barreled early Wednesday morning across the Caribbean island of St. Martin, where President Trump owns a lavish waterfront estate, wrecking buildings, overturning cars and uprooting trees with punishing winds.
The status of Trump’s 11-bedroom gated compound on Plum Bay, which is on the market, was not immediately known. But officials with the French government, which controls the side of the island where his beachfront property is located, said the territory suffered widespread destruction.
