Pray for football coach that prayed at games

Join me in prayer for coach Kennedy who lost his job after persisting in leading prayer at the half way line at high school football games. Apparently some Satanists complained that their kids felt obliged to participate in order to get playing time and this broke some poxy little rule.

What's so wrong about praying to God that you get picked for the team? Sounds like somebody didn't want to put in the effort to reach the magic 110%.

When the case gets to the Supreme Court they need to bear in mind Matthew 6 and give the man his reward.

And whilst thou prayest; thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Pastor Zeke runs Landover Baptist, Mayor Hold runs the City of Freehold and the football coach runs the team. No one has the authority to say the coach cannot lead a prayer.

Atheists want to run the show. They want to decide if Coach can pray. Next they will be sending in plays. My advice to atheists is BUTT OUT.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Kennedy? Is this coach a Roman Catholic? I support a coach's decision to lead prayers on the 50 yard line, but not if they're Roman Catholic prayers. After all, we wouldn't let a Jew or a Moslem pray on our field, so why would we allow prayers from another false religion, Catholicism?

Also, what if the black players want to join the white players who are praying? We need to protect the rights of white players to pray in peace, and we all know that black people can't pray without screaming and dancing and running around doing somersaults.

Re: Pray for football coach that prayed at games

An example of screwed up thinking by heathens appeared in the paper this morning. A dufus atheist claimed indoctrination of students with liberal ideas is no worse than the coach indoctrinating football players there is a God that hears everything and knows their thoughts.

The dufus failed to mention that teaching students about God gives them a shot at an eternity in heaven. Teaching liberal ideas leads them to sin and an eternity in hell. Let's have a little rational thinking here, dufus.

Thank you Mr. Mayor - the writer Randy Evans makes a strong argument.
If it is OK for a coach or a teacher to organize such “optional” student prayers on school grounds, tell me how that differs from teachers engaging in “optional” discussions inside the same classrooms about LGBTQ issues, transgender rights or the treatment of Black people since the United States was founded.
As I said earlier, I’m confused.
Randy is right to be confused. If the inerrant word of Christ our Lord is so-called "optional" in schools then I suppose our beliefs that fags should be put to death and that all members of the black species are cursed must be optional too?

Yes! America is coming back HARD in the war against Christianity. Coach Kennedy has won his case allowing him "a private moment of giving thanks" at school football games, on school property, as the employed coach, despite students on the football team saying they "felt coerced" to do it to get game time.

Here is Coach enjoying a private moment:

I think I can see the Holy Angel descending from the sky. The only thing missing is some discreet fireworks, a choir, Nativity scene and a live production of the Resurrection.

The word "optional" is so perfect here. Atheist students who want to play on this football team have an option. They can convert to Christianity and believe in Jesus or they cannot play football.

Maybe the badminton coach does not require prayer. They can be on the woose badminton team.

                Yessir, with all the non-Americans.

I have delved into the legal fine print in order to better illuminate the brilliance undermining underlying the Supreme Court:

In a dissent [liberals] wrote that the court "consistently has recognized that school officials leading prayer is constitutionally impermissible"

"Today’s decision is particularly misguided because it elevates the religious rights of a school official, who voluntarily accepted public employment and the limits that public employment entails, over those of his students, who are required to attend school and who this Court has long recognized are particularly vulnerable and deserving of protection"

Blah blah. In contrast, for the majority opinion, Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote:

"Both the Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses of the First Amendment protect expressions like Mr. Kennedy’s"

So. You. See? Devastating logic hit, BOOM!

In support, former Vice President Mike Pence praised Monday's ruling: “Americans of faith do not turn their devotion off and on like a light switch, and we must reject any attempt by the government to control private religious expression — especially ... when answering the call to participate in public service.”

I didn't hear liberals complaining about sports players taking the knee in homage to their LGTBQ deity (or whatever they're still doing that for). Only when Christians expressed a quiet moment of thanks, did they lose their famous tolerance. I look forward to rubbing our Christian prayers smack in their Goddamn faces after we tear them a new asshole in the first half, and a new asshole in the second half too.

Here is my suspicion of what liberals want with this coach prayer thing. They want the coach to pray for victory by the other team. It would also be OK if the coach led the team in a prayer for Biden. Include a prayer for more abortions and the coach gets a raise.

President Trump's Supreme Court will not reconsider an old ruling that prohibits Christian Public Schools, like Freehold, from praying before our games. When Pastor Zeke is out of town I do the prayer before Freehold's games. Am I going to stop because some liberal fuddy duddy got a Federal judge to say praying before a football game is illegal? No. We are a Christian Public School. We pray. Argument over.

Oh Jesus, why do Satan-worshippers ruin everything??? From optional* prayers at football over the loudspeaker to flying flags at the town hall everyone knows Christians are the good guys. So we should get a free pass on the Constitutional separation of Church and State.
