Brothers and sisters of Landover, it is with greatest shame and repentance I report that I acquired infraction points for posting about my neighbor's domestic conflict. I was merely seeking advice, but in describing my neighbors' bedroom scenario, it appears I was too graphic. (NO DIRTY WORDS WERE USED, HOWEVER)

I am humbly sorry to have subjected you fine church members to this wickedness, and if I do try to help my neighbor again, it will be by printing a flier detailing her situation, to distribute to the Menfolk of her church so that THEY might counsel her. It was perhaps vain to think that I, a fellow housewife, had anything to offer my neighbor in the first place.

My thanks to good Pastor Ezekiel for making me see the error of my presumptuous ways.

Thank you for the tip, Sister Poole. I sent Pastor Zeek a personal apology message, as well. If it begins a conversation, I shall mention his eyes, for good measure.

Have you ever received infractions? How did you deal with the public SHAME??

In cases such as these, private consultation with the Pastor is called for. Be prepared to submit any photographic and/or video evidence required. Since you are curently a widow, Pastor may stand in for your lack of Godly Husband and administer proper Biblical discipline as needed.

I admit the inherent stumpet-hood of my gender seeped into full flower in my post, and my "apology".

Could you point me to the post that was deemed to graphic by the pastor? I would simply like to see "how far too far" goes. For reference purposes of course!

I too received an infraction for inadvertently correcting a Pastor. It has expired, thank the Lord, but the shame I'm afraid never goes away!

You would have to ask him, for in His infinite wisdom, our fine Pastor Ezekiel removed the whole regretable post from the board.

I know that with my last breath some day, those damnable infractions will be the last thing that flashes before my eyes.

I feel so soiled and tawdry.

The feelings of soiledness and tawdryhood will pass, dear Miss Cookie. I myself only think about my infraction four or five times a day now.

Maybe you could PM me some of the details? Again, just so I would know what not to say. I live in constant fear of offending Pastors!
