Surely if our lord already has a predetermined divine master plan for each of us, praying wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.
I will answer you. God has a plan and all is predestined. But SATAN, who was an Angel, has power on earth and can disrupt the Plan if we allow it. That is what free will is all about.

God PLANS a place for everyone in Heaven, but some souls are lost because they do not hear the plan or abide it. We pray that our soldiers and loved ones have not committed an act for SATAN and that GOD will accept them into Heaven. Since GOD hears every prayer, it makes a difference.

Prayer is a very real thing my friend. It has saved many lost souls, brought salvation to God's people and brought the wicked to God's justice. Did you know prayer can cure even terrible afflictions like homosexuality? If the power of prayer can cure that what can it not do?

The real question is... WHY NOT pray? Why have you not yet prayed today? Why are you not praying for our soldiers?

Give me a good reason not to pray. I bet you can't find one.

    2 Kings 20:5
5Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

Surely if our lord already has a predetermined divine master plan for each of us, praying wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.
While God does indeed have a predetermined plan he does sometimes answer prayers. Particularly prayers that ask God to save lost souls, or punish the wicked.

What Pastor Billy-Reuben said. You must know the Lord's Prayer; have you never stopped to wonder why God would want us to pray to Him that His will be done?

You are correct that praying won't change God's mind.

Ezek 24:14 I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.

However, your conclusion that prayer doesn't make a difference is unwarranted. Prayer is how we believers prostrate ourselves before the Lord, showing Him that we realize we are unable to do anything without His help. We pray because we are commanded to pray:

Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

So God expects us to pray and ask Him to do things for us, even though we know He won't do it unless He was already planning to. If we don't pray enough, it shows we don't trust Him.

    Pastor Billy-Reuben

Hola Strokenuts. Actually the whole point is kinda moot because dead soldiers are or should be taken care of allready and the live ones are allready prayin a lot harder than any of us can. Save your prayers for under a dollar gas and smoking in restaraunts.

Are you referring to live soldiers, or dead soldiers?
