Friends, I received this notice from Don Wildmon, of the American Family Association, on Facebook today.
Sounds horribly familiar, doesn't it?
Come see how AFA's opponents are spamming the discussion board.

Hello Everyone. As some have already seen (the rest can scroll down the discussion topics) the American Family Association Fan Page discussion board is being spammed by those who oppose AFA and what it stands for. This does not surprise me and it should not surprise you. As I've said often, those who cannot defeat arguments on the merits often resort to personal attacks or name calling. Go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tupelo-MS/American-Family-Association/41769132859 and scroll down the page to see how AFA’s opponents are intentionally disrupting the discussion of important topics.
I've decided to leave these juvenile threads on the board for all the world to see. The use by our opponents of destructive tactics, rather than intelligent argument, actually makes our case stronger and strengthens our resolve.
What the culprits also fail to understand is that such behavior undermines the credibility of all our opponents and bolsters the credibility of Christians. I know of no instance in which a Christian has intentionally tried to damage the discussion board or website of homosexual, pro-abortion or atheist groups. Thus, those on the AFA board who often have tried to persuade through appeals to reason now have the added burden of overcoming the pitiful tactics of their ideological comrades.
As the Apostle Paul reminds us, we are to fight the good fight to the end without rendering evil for evil. The juvenile spamming of our discussion board is one more reminder of how much our opponents hate us. Let's pray for them.
AFA is thoroughly committed to preserving the traditional family and standing against those who seek to destroy it. If you are not already doing so please visit our discussion board often and become an active participant. You’ll be glad you did!
