  • An Open Letter to Pastor Al: Pray For Me?

    My dear Pastor:

    st John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    Proverbs 20:9
Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

I quote these holy words in admission that I am but a frail sinner, sure to have transgressed against your divine light in some way or another, which I do not understand as of yet.

The lawsuit over the late Reverend Daryl's will aside, I feel a coldness has touched us of late, and I have no idea why. Has someone spoken against me in the Church? Did God Himself murmur something abhorrent about me in your ear ? ! ? ! If so, I should like to know what was said, specifically.

However, I am convinced what ever it is, this is my fault, my fault, my own mortal fault.

I ask all to pray for me, that I may be redeemed in our Good Pastor's sight.

    Pastor, hear my words:

Sister Cookie, what in Heaven's name are you going on about? Our church is a loving family which always gets along!

If you feel the need to pray for our family, only pray that satan keeps his evils away! And the homos too!

I tell you, something has been said, someone has risen up against me!

      I feel it!

If only it were all a dream!
