Pray for my parents as they deal with a miscarriage

I've been talking to my mom for hours this morning trying to stop her tears by explaining to her that God never gives us more than we can handle. So that child was probably going to grow up to be a homer. That would devastate my family as we are already dealing with the loss of my sister to lesbianism (should have never let her take that cashier position at the Home Depot ). I keep asking mom where dad is, but she won't answer. That means he has left her unattended with a phone. How could he be neglecting his duties as a husband at a time like this?

Please pray for us.

You can meet some 'special' women on a visit to Home Depot. Each time is an adventure. The men all seem like manly men, though, guys who would know how to use a hammer.

What was the original question? Whatever you do, be nice to your mom. She's probably going crazy with all those hormones.

I'll try Nobar. I'm having a hard time with that, though. I have some suspicions.

Is there a chance that my mom could have brought this on herself to due sinful behavior? Some nights she says she's going out to her Ladies Fellowship, but when she gets back at 5 in the morning she smells like men's cologne. I confronted her about it a few times as she was counting the stack of one dollar bills from her Ladies Fellowship meeting (she's the treasurer). She just brushes it off, though.

How sad, a miscarriage!

Does your mother know that since her baby never accepted Jesus, it will join all dead infants and aborted fetuses suffering forever in Hell? That's even more sad!

I wonder if God is punishing your mother for collecting only a few singles for His Work at her prayer meetings.

Tell her that she needs to really work that collection plate . . . shake it vigorously in the upturned faces of those folks when they are filled to bursting with the overpowering Love of the Lord, and get them to whip out their wallets for Jesus again and again! They need to learn how good it feels to give, and give, and give more, until they're completely drained from their heartfelt generosity!

Following through has never been her strongest attribute. You bring up some good point. I'll discuss this with my father.

Friend, that is absolutely the best thing one can say to someone who is going through a tragedy. You cannot repeat it often enough.

God gave this to her, knowing that she could handle it, and this will strengthen her and make her a mighty woman of God.

Be sure to let your mother know that everything God is in control of everything, and everything He does is always right and good, even if we can't always see the good.
