Re: To all "true christians"
You mean you all don't have LENT?? Geez, I don't know ANY christian of ANY denomination who doesn't take part in lent! It's a fundamental part of the christian faith! Look at the christian calender!
Yeah I've read the King James' version twice and others a few times.

The Catholic Church is a pagan religion Satan is passing off as Christian.Originally posted by Born-Again Atheist View PostI probably wouldn't take part in a discussion of the Qur'an. Mainly because I haven't read all of it. And you could try reading what I write rather than misquoting me.
The Catholic Church is a denomination of Christianity. So is the baptist church. Sheesh. Is that too hard to understand?

Catholics aren't Christians. Catholics are pagans, the inheritors of the Babylonian religion which worshiped Ba'al and Moloch. That's why they have Lent, and the Easter Bunny, and a Queen of Heaven (former title of Semiramis/Ishtar), etc.
They mixed a little bit of Christianity into their pagan demon-worship, much like Islamists did. Only the Islamists went a step further and directly blasphemed Jesus' name.

Re: To all "true christians"
We already have. His name is Shert. If you read anything beyond the things you post and responses that are about what you have posted, you'd notice a lengthy, ongoing discussion of the Qur'an. You'd also see that he's capable of understanding a question and answering it directly, rather than flinging a weblink at us and saying, "Well, it's in here somewhere."Originally posted by Born-Again Atheist View PostHaha, you make me feel as if i should be defending Islam. But I won't. If you wanna argue about the Bible vs the Qur'an, go find a Muslim.
Meanwhile, you're claiming that Christianity is similar to Islam. Well, Islam came about 600 years AFTER Christianity. It's not hard to fathom that Mohammed could possibly have heard of Jesus (since Mohammed spoke of Him!).
SO was there any POINT to your comment or that article? So Islam copied parts of Christianity. So did Catholicism.Last edited by OnYourKnees; 04-11-2007, 08:35 PM.

Re: To all "true christians"
Shocking to see how Mohammed know so much about Christianity in the 8th Century AD. Gasp, it is almost like he read a Bible! So how does the sayings of the megalomaniac whose claim to fame is his army of fanatics thuged the Byzantine and Sassanid empires at a moment of mutual weakness go beyond the level of Mien Kampf?Originally posted by Born-Again Atheist View Posthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Similar...e_Qur'an#Jesus
Read the whole article if it helps. I wish people would stop being so close minded. I'm not asking anyone to accept other peoples' beliefs as true.

Re: To all "true christians"
Wait, so a story in a book written about Jesus (2000 years old) matches something written in the Qur'an (1400 years old)?Originally posted by Born-Again Atheist View PostMaybe god was creating a bit of hell on earth. Divisions between Christianity and Islam. You know the Infancy Gospel of Thomas gives the same accounts of (kid) Jesus bringing life to 12 clay birds which matches with the Qur'an?
Well, those pesky Christians must have stolen it, for sure!!

Re: To all "true christians"
Have you even read them?
http://www.carm.org/lostbooks.htm
I was pretty amazed when I found these... not only NEW books, but ADDITIONS to books. It's kinda like you're eating a sandwhich and realising you still haven't ate the other half. Kinda.

Yet more proof that it must be a Satanic forgery. There's a good reason why it's not in the KJV.Originally posted by Born-Again Atheist View PostMaybe god was creating a bit of hell on earth. Re: To all "true christians"
They are entirely irrelevant. If God wanted those "lost books" to be in The Bible God would have told King James to put them in.Originally posted by Born-Again Atheist View PostI actually have no intentions on WRITING (thanks for that) a book. I'm currently reading my way through the "Lost Books". I find the Infancy Gospel of Thomas extremely interesting... Read them all.
