THIS just in: sister Tammy Faye is currently in hospice and coughing up blood. Its just a matter of days now before Jesus kills her dead. Your prayers will be quite entertaining to Jesus, but my guess is that's about all.
Not that its our choice of course, but I'm wondering what the members of our church think. Will Jesus invite Tammy up to Heaven, or will He wad her up and toss her into hellfire, like so much trash? What do you think?
Tammy Faye Messner in Hospice for Cancer
The son of a former televangelist says things aren't looking good for his mother. Jay Bakker is the son of former PTL Club host Jim Bakker.
His mother, Tammy Faye Messner, is battling cancer.
"She's not very well. She's got stage four cancer. She's living in Kansas City now. She's 60 pounds and started hospice. It's been a real tough year for her and the whole family actually," he said.
Bakker is asking for prayers for his mom.
His dad spent time in prison following a scandal involving the PTL Club ministry.
Jim Bakker is now living in Kansas City and is back on the air with a local TV show.
Jay Bakker now pastors a church in New York City.
