  • My Cousin Needs Help

well recently my cousin robert has been living with us he used to preach gods word and read the bible on a daily bases. But his old friends moved to town and he got caught up in there little drug and drinking train. So he slipped back on god and fell right back into the devils traps again like he did before and got my older brother jumped and beat up cause they were drunk and told my brother to leave at the dead of night and got beat up and put into the hospital, So every time robert does show up at are house he looks like he cant live with him self he stays up at dead night just sitting there on hes bed in hes room so i been praying for him and i hope you can pray for him to i feel he knows what he's doing but just cant find the strength only in him self to over come it so he needs gods help so can you please pray for him.

Why don't you turn him in to the police?

    Jesus would want you to.

I read elsewhere that Robert lives in sin city. Yes? I think he is lost to the Lord. He does not want to hear the word of God. He knows the truth and has chosen a path of personal destruction.

      Psalm 38:13 (King James Version)
13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

It is up to him now Jesse. You are a good kid wanting to do the right thing by your cousin but his ears are deaf, he can not hear.
      2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

Jesse, I will pray for your brother, but you need to take sides--you can either stick with your brother or stick with Jesus. As Christ said in Luke 14:26:

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

You do want to be Christ's disciple, don't you?
