    Please pray for John Isner (U.S.A.) to win the Wimbeldon

    For now I'm just praying that he'll win his first game. It's at the 47th set of the final game and they've played longer than any tennis game EVER.

    I'm saying a little prayer for Johnny. Maybe Nick Mahut will just run out of steam. Go U.S.A.!!!

      What an incredible match! I watched it from 41-41 -> 59-59.

      Wonder how long it will go on for on day 3? One thing I have noted is that it is the French player who started whining about the conditions, whilst heroic John Isner just wanted to complete the game. He will be in my prayers tonight.

        I was disappointed when ESPN pulled the match around the 48th game. I had to find the broadcast on my computer and I watched until that coward called for a break in the match. I truly believe that Johnny Isner will win in the morning. He has an incredible serve. I predict that the morning's game will be like a new set: It will be over in 30 mins because the victor will prevail.

          Indeed, I think John will come through in the end. Just watching that match I could see Innis was the better player, his huge serve and also the speed at which he moved about the court, he was playing in the 50th game like it was his first.
          The opposite player may be a frog but it is Innis with the spring in his step.

            I just saw this highlight. 59-59? Is that right? 10+ hours. My prayers will be going out to Isner.

              U.S.A. wins, again!
              WIMBLEDON, England -- John Isner has won the longest tennis match on record by beating Nicolas Mahut 70-68 in the final set at Wimbledon.
              Picking up at 59-59 in the fifth set Thursday, the match continued on serve with no break points until the American hit a backhand passing shot to finish the contest in front of a packed crowd on Court 18.
              Isner finished with a total of 112 aces and Muhat 103. The first-round match surpassed the 11-hour mark stretching over three days. The fifth set alone went over 8 hours.
