In the Christmas time, PLEASE help me pray for the soldiers

The soldier stood and faced his God Which must always come to pass...
He hoped his shoes were shining Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier, How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and Said,"No, Lord, I guess I ain't...
Because those of us who carry guns Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent, Because the streets are awfully tough.
But, I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime When the bills got just too steep,
And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place Among the people here...
They never wanted me around Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne Where the saints had often trod...
As the soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God,
    "Step forward now you soldier,
    Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Dedicated To All That Serve... God Bless The Christian Troops, disregard the Nationality they from.

Also Psalm 91 is known as A Soldiers prayer (If i am correctly informed about US troops?)

    Psalm 91

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

    9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

I was nearly moved to tears by this lovely poem, partly because I know that there are few real men left in the military now, thanks to the repeal of Don't Ask, Don' Tell, which was replaced with We're Here and We're Queer, and You're Going to be Queer Too, or die.

I agree, there is to many non Christians in other armyes, but that dosent means that we cant pray for the Christians thats there.

AND i do actualy see a pupose for queer soldiers:

        1. Stick fingers in ears
        2. Go in front of non queer troops
        3. Stamp the ground as hard you can
        4. When ground dont explode, you know what you need to do tomorow

          Sounds good!

And when confronted with enemies with bayonets, they can shout their favorite refrain, "Shove it in me!"

As if God would listen to you.
John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Are you sure you don't want to convert to get God to listen to your prayers?
We've got a lot in common. In your last post you already demonstrated:

                  1. Hatred for other religions, and wishing all members dead, without caring whether they are children or women, or their specific beliefs.

                  2. Believing women aren't worth praying for.

We've got the unerring word of God. What's your excuse?
John 20:27: Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

                    Realism?

There is just one Book, and that is the Bible, and it also proves that Satan exists. However people turned afraidof God, else most had been worshiping Satan (i cant back it up with a Scripture) But i guess God did a good PR stunt with Sodom and Gomore.

Well why waste prayers for women, they do not understand that much anyway, as long they prepare my bacon, deliver my beer and shut up they will have a role, ohhh and im lucky becourse i am alowed to have the sex when i want, and THAT is cool

Son, why all the fascination with rectums? Is there something you'd like to say?

Friend, you just do not get it.

Not a single living True Christian™ would not love to have his wife join him in Heaven. I pray every day for God to hear me talk about the depth of love and respect I have for Mrs. Hutchins. God does hear us and when and if he deems our prayers strong enough, He will listen.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Ofcourse we would love to have our women with us when we go to our heavans, infact the wife should do all to seek the heaven as fast as she can, in case the man die first.

Brother, it always touches me to hear you praying that God will take Mrs. Hutchins up to Heaven soon! I know you want her to have plenty of time to redecorate your mansion in Heaven to be just the way you like it before you arrive, and who knows if they have taxidermists in Heaven to make the deer heads for you?

Yeah what does the Bible say about prayers, lets start with the posture:
                              Bowing: Exodus 4:31
Face to the ground: 2 Chronicles 20:18, Matthew 26:39
                              Standing: 1 Kings 8:22

So for the posture i guess this dosent matter.

How much do you need to say:
Well as little as possible, as you should not babblelike other religions do:
                              Matthew 6:7, Ecclesiastes 5:2

In case you dont know how to pray, the Holy Spirit will help you Romans 8:26-27, here it also sayes that God understand what you have on your heart, wich i understand as you dont need words.

At the end of the day i guess that God know what you will pray for even before you pray, as God know every thing 1 John 3:20 , Hebrews 4:13
2 Corinthians 11:14 - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Revelation 8:5 ------- And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
