    Please help!

    My husband-William, I'm fairly sure II've told you about him- Wants me to "cease and desis" from coming to this board. He says he won't have me treated like a "stupid chamber drudge, or someone who is under men"

    I know I'm supposed to listen to my husband, but this cannot be right! He even refuses to let me make supper!


    Repent, or be tortured in nasty ways with sharp, pointy things!

    Of course we treat you like someone who is under men, you ARE under men, as men are under God! Maybe if you could point him in the right direction, using the wisdom of the KJV, he will come to a sense, otherwise, you, of course, should obey him, unless you suspect he might be lusting for other men, as his refusal to allow you to make dinner for him certainly shows, but let us just pray he comes to his senses, and allows you to participate in this Godly® Forum, after he beats some discipline into you, of course

    I believe Dr. Hovind to be completely innocent of the alleged crime of "tax evasion", and furthermore believe Hovind's 10 year sentence to be patently unjust and based upon an effort to silence his ministry.

      Wait a minute...if you don't cook the dinner, then who does? Wait...is he the one that does the cooking? If so, that's just...strange.

          Does your hubby spank you when you've burnt the edges of the piecrust? Does he paddle you when you've misbehaved? When you've forgotten your Bible lessons, does he lock you in your prayer closet to cry all alone in the dark?

          Of course you are a chamber drudge, and your place is doing what you are told, dear! This is your duty as a goodly Christian housewife!

          If your hubby doesn't realize that, then he's a wimp and there's gonna be a problem with Jesus!

            Oh, my, Sister Cheshire, this is odd indeed.

            Have you discreetly inquired as to why he feels this way? Or maybe a more direct approach would be better; if you questioned him bluntly, the Lord may move him to give you a good slap upside your head and then perhaps he would come to his senses, praise Jesus!

              I've already asked him why he feels this way, and he just tells me to shut up. I'm starting to think he is a liberal.... Yes, he does the cooking. If I so much as sneak in the kitchen at night to bake an apple pie, he wake sup, and makes me go back to bed. I mean, if he was normal, he'd shut me in the prayer closet for a year for misdeeds!

                My, my, this is a sticky situation. May I suggest that you post your problem in the TC(tm) Help section? It's run by Mother Glendora, and if anyone would know what to do, it would be her, praise the Lord!

                In the meantime, perhaps you could leave little notes around the house where he is sure to see them. Sister Noddy's verses in her post above would be perfect to start with.
