The Devil is at work 24/7 tempting Christians into heinous crimes of child cannibalism. It stands to reason that a man with disunited eyes can be fooled more easily by the Great Deceiver of Nations such that, in a moment of weakness or perhaps while reading a book about math, science, or some other pagan superstition which the Bible repudiates, he might accidentally eat the child sitting on his knee, mistaking it for a proper Christian meal.
