Excuse me if I don't want to get your germs.

I used to be pretty casual when it came to germs, you have to be when you spend days out hunting and cleaning your kill.

The more I read, though, the more scared I get.

Now, letting your dog greet you could kill you:
Why you should never let your dog lick your face - as it could be life-threatening

Dogs love to show affection - but their mouths are host to several potentially lethal strains of bacteria

Re: Excuse me if I don't want to get your germs.

God is very clear about having relations with animals. While I do not believe in germs (because no one can see them) I do know God punishes those that have inter-species relations (like blonde white women and nigra bucks).

      Leviticus 18:23
Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

      Deuteronomy 23:18
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

      Seems pretty clear to me.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Re: Excuse me if I don't want to get your germs.

The way I think about it is the Good Lord had every opportunity to advise mankind about germs, hygiene, what soap is, how to reduce risk of infection and death from childbirth, tooth decay, or a humble sliver, but did not. Either He doesn't care about our health (but He does!), or secularists are lying to us (they are!). I trust the Lord Jesus over secular science any day! They exist only to convert souls to their secular seminaries - colleges and universities - to thwart the Domination of True Christians™ o're the whole of God's Green Earth (Genesis 1:26)!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

An excellent summary, dear Sister. Jesus didn't exactly warn us agaist personal hygiene, and I do admit that it can be useful if it helps us overcome the nausea that accompanies the revolting sights and odors of the marital duties. In fact, He was indifferent when it came to hygiene. It does not matter, which means that the germ theory collapses.

          Matthew 15:20
These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

As we can see, Jesus knows best.

          Yours in Christ,

            Now it's sponges:
Your kitchen sponge is even grosser than you thought — here's how often you should replace it
A recent study published in the journal Scientific Reports suggests those spongy bacterial colonies may be even more of a health hazard than we thought. Because of that, the researchers behind the report recommend replacing your sponge every week.

            http://www.businessinsider.com/how-o...sponges-2017-8
Well, I don't think I can afford that. Who pays for these studies? The sponge manufacturer?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Re: Excuse me if I don't want to get your germs.

The Bible (KJV1611) has quite a bit to say about being "unclean" and the need for washing (Exodus 19:10-11, Leviticus 14:8-9, Leviticus 15:2-13, Leviticus 15:4-8, Numbers 31:24, Mark 7:1-9), but not one word about "germs". This "germ theory" came from (who else) the French in the name of one Louis Pasteur - out of which came all those disgustingly scented French soaps that they are still peddling today.
              Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
