3. Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

While Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is forgiving and loving, does he not demand discipline, does he not punish sinners to an eternity in hell. As such, men are required to love their wives, but provide stern discipline.

If a man never lifts his hand to a woman to correct her sinful ways, he has not only failed her, but failed His expectations.

That's funny. Because after that verse, the bible goes on to say...

(1 Corinthians 11:5) "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoreth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven."

Do you also beat your wife if she goes to church without her burka?

In your original question, I think you meant to type "slave", but you fat-fingered it and it looked like "Slav", which is how this whole discussion started.

If my understanding of your question is correct, then the difference between wives and slaves is that God says slaves should be beaten more severely than wives.

According to the Bible, you shouldn't beat your slaves so badly that they die the same day, but if they live through the night only to die from their wounds the next day, then it's no biggie.

Exod 21:20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
Exod 21:21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

However, you would never beat your wife or other family members that badly. You just give her some bruises and whip her in the stomach a few times to purge evil from her whenever you feel like she needs it.

At school we have one class a week regarding Christianity, we read from the bible there. The little i know is from that class.

That is a horribly insufficient amount of Bible study. I personally devote a full hour every morning to personal Bible Study every morning in addition to my church Bible study group every Tuesdays and Thursdays plus my Saturday Bible discussion group meeting. You clearly have a long way to go before you are a good and true Christian (Republican, Baptist) like me.
