It's a 'Marriage Baseball Bat' in my family Brother. It only goes back a hundred years or so. Nothing like the great history of your rock.

My father said he will pass me his 'Marriage Rock' on my wedding day. It's a old family tradition, the rock has passed through my family for generations. My Grand-daddy had it, my great grand-daddy etc etc. Think it's been passed down for over 300 years. It's what our men have been using for generations to make sure our women know their places. We pray over the rock, and ask God to keep our marriages safe and wholesome. If our women tick us off, we hold the rock in our fist, and use it to discipline our women-folks.

I think every family should have a 'Marriage Rock'.

There has to be others ways to make sure she's less annoying
I used to brag on lots of stuff and whine ,but several times my fiance just told me that it was annoying, so I learned to adjust to what he thinks about some things I do
and this all without any beatings (I swear if he ever gives me even a smak in the face I'll hit him twice as hard)

Good conversations and understanding eachother is a good base on this matter. I know my fiance very well and even if I DO get pissed of and start whining I regret it later on and will make it up to him by : Making a meal he really loves, get him a little present ....

I like her cooking, Pastor. My momma says she's tasted better pie, but I think her pie tastes great just the way it is.

It's more her attitude that irritates me. Like for instance, she kept going on about her cousin Emily just the other day, apparently she's got this big fancy college degree in some sort of chemistry nonsense, and my sweet Fiancee feels inadequate.

I up and told her she isn't going to college and shouted at her about it, and she got all upset. She was crying for around an hour, and it really grated on me. I could've taken my boot off, and smashed it into her face ... I was seriously THAT irritated. You know what I mean?

Well you might try keeping her busier. Idle hands are the devils plaything, and a few hours of scrubbing toilets with a toothbrush will help her forget her natural inadequacies soon enough. Can she see herself in those boots of yours?

Well, some may call me overly liberal on this point, but I believe that once a father gives his official blessing to a new couple getting married, the responsibility for disciplining the girl can be shared between both men.

While she's at home, her father needs to subjugate her as needed. While she's with you, the duty falls on your manly shoulders.

As many of you already know, I am engaged to be Married. Praise! But what I wanted to know was - am I allowed to smack her around NOW ... IF she does something to tick me off of course.

I know I'm allowed to throw her a beating or two AFTER we're married. But I just wondered if I'm allowed to kick her in the ribs or break her arm or something, if she does something to annoy me before that? Not that she's disrespectful or nothing, but she does sometimes irritate me.

I just wondered as we're engaged an all, as I think she could do with a good beating to be perfectly honest. Or do I have to wait until we're married, and just get her father to smack her around a bit for me?
