I think I'm in trouble. I tripped a blind guy.

OK, I thought it would be funny and I put a string across the sidewalk and a blind guy tripped on it. No big deal I thought but then the guy rolled over on his back and (looked?) up at me, because I guess he could hear me laughing and he just said, "Leviticus 19 verse 14"

I was puzzled because that's my favorite book, so I ran home and threw my KJV1611 open and here's what I saw:
Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

I have been praying and begging for forgiveness. I have hit the Paypal button. What else should I do?
    Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

But isn't it masturbation that makes people go blind?

and does it not clearly state in the Bible that they are going to Hell?

Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

It seems you are doing Gods work

Don't these blind people have canes, or dogs who can see string?

This reminds me of my favorite blind joke: A blind guy and his dog go into a grocery store...
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Brother Mayfield, I believe there is a big difference between a stumbling block (which is a large rectangular piece of wood) and a small piece of string.

I believe you should be fine. Tho if in doubt, next time just go up to the blind guy, and push him over. It should have the same effect, and there would be no obstacles involved. Praise!

I have done the same, brother. What I did was beat myself ruthlessly with a 2x4 until God gave me a sign that sin had left.

THIS is a man who actually reads the entire Bible.

Might also help to check the parts where Jesus made the blind see.
              ACTS 5:29

But Peter and the apostles said in reply, "We must obey God rather than men."
There you have it-so WHAT'S STOPPING YOU COWARDS?

All True Christians(tm) read the Bible. The KJV1611 Authorized Version, that is.

You might try it sometime, papist.
