  • Of course it should hurt! God said so!

The pain of childbirth may have benefits on which women who opt for painkilling epidurals miss out.
Dr Denis Walsh, associate professor in midwifery at Nottingham University, said pain was a "rite of passage" which often helped regulate childbirth.
He said it helped strengthen a mother's bond with her baby, and prepared her for the responsibility of motherhood.

Dr Walsh said epidurals were known to increase the risk that hormone treatment would be needed to boost contractions, and that devices such as forceps would be needed to complete the birth successfully.
He said: "I am concerned that if we increase epidural rates we do not know the long-term impacts of that."
But he warned that a culture had emerged where most hospitals effectively offered women epidurals on demand.
Official figures show the number of mothers receiving an epidural rose from 17% in 1989 to 1990 to 33% in 2007 to 2008.
    Genesis 3

16: Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Women should not be allowed painkillers during childbirth. It is against the word of God.
    Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

I wholeheartedly agree. Mrs. Hutchins births standing in sort of a squat position. A basket under her catches the newbie. Some paper clips and a snip and she can return to her chores. Drugs would only make her more addle minded less efficient with her cleaning and cooking. Could you imagine if she made a mistake with the pie ingredients?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Amen, Brother. The Angler-can't "church" opposed painkillers during childbirth for just that reason. Then Queen Victoria, grandmother of Europe and great-great-grandmother of uppity women's libbers, used them, and the Brits committed apostasy from yet another of God's holy doctrines.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

That becomes a matter of church vs state. You cannot force people to believe and you cannot enforce christian rules against them, nor should we try because God gave us free will. That being said my wife and daughter would've died if she'd opted for an epidural. It was only on last minute advice that she didn't have it done. A miracle if you ask me.

Try living in Saudi Arabia and telling them "You cannot force people to believe and you cannot enforce muslim rules against them, nor should we try because God gave us free will". If you did, they would take you out to a certain town square and get the decapitating sword out.

Count your blessings that Christianity is a tolerant religion and that in God's Country of the United States of America you do indeed have freewill. Shout Glory!
          Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Well that's just it Brother Tamariki; He hates freedom. That's why he rejects Jesus and spits on the Holy Bible.

I'll bet he's not even American.
