OK then here is the answer. Originally, GOD planned for women to have children with no strain, pain or weight gain. The husband would simply ask for another farmhand and in the morning he would have one unless he had sinned in some way and then there would be a little girl.

They could keep her or toss her down the neighbor's well, whatever. But after three tries and all of the appropriate purification rituals and slaughtering and burning of birds and lambs, there had better be a boy or the husband could toss the wife out into the street and 'go in unto' another one.

That's why women were so desperate to have sons that they would go to any length to have one....but I'm getting ahead of my story.

In the Garden of Eden there had been, by some accounts, a previous woman. Presumably she was one of SATAN'S HARLOTS, for she is not mentioned in Scripture. But her name was Lilith and she sidled right up to Adam faster than Tali would spread her boots for a new Harley.

But I can tell you this much. From what the bible describes of Jesus's actions, he seems to have taken up with 'sinners' for the most part ( drunks, fighters, prostitutes, etc. ) even the diseased or tax collector were part of his circle. As you have read through this thread, you understand that the question raised in the opening post is unresolved. Your contribution is noted and I am sure it will form a small part of the material that is being gathered to resolve this issue. During the years we have learned quite a few things. For instance, souls can be destroyed by, e.g., careless fornication.

Proverbs 6:32
But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

It is quite feasible that female souls as more fragile entities can be more easily destroyed but that remains to be investigated. Progress is slow but steady. We cannot simply take the word of a woman as evidence. Even when sincere, women are often mistaken. They also sin by seducing men, which causes their (possibly existing) weak souls to perish.

Ezekiel 18:4
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

See, no mention of female souls here. Unresolved.
