All so-called scripture is equally believable or unbelieveable. It all depends on your preference. And I never said that they were all factual. In fact, I never made that claim about any of them, including your holy book. I referred to them all by the same word - "literature."

It sits alongside my copy of the Baghavad Gita, the Qu'ran, the Goseigen, Salman Rushdie's The Satanic Verses, Nikos Kazantsakis' The Last Temptation of Christ, Gore Vidal's Creation and Live from Golgotha, Joseph Campbell's Primitive Mythology: the Masks of God, Douglas Wood's Old Turtle, Byrd Baylor's I Am in Charge of Celebrations, Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons, Starhawk's The Spiral Dance, Silver Ravenwolf's To Light a Sacred Flame, Merlin Stone's When God was a Woman, and Patricia Telesco's Urban Pagan, to name just a few.
