So according to you, women should work 40+ hours a week outside the house, come home do the cooking and cleaning, and take care of the children?

Sorry, but I would rather stay home with my children, making sure they get a DECENT education (as opposed to the public brain washing centers). And if my husband is bringing home the bacon, I think the least I can do is fry it up for him.

Oh, and I don't sit at home "waiting for my husband to tell me what to do next". You have a very screwed up idea of what life as a stay at home mom is all about. I only have 3 children, the largest family I know has 27, should she also be working full time?

I think what your previous woman was saying is it is a choice. A Woman Can not sit at home living off her parents waiting for the right man. If we choose to work to put food on our tables or help our family, we work, as I did until I met Mr. Right. I am married..no children yet, and we both work to have some extra cash in case of emergencies and to prepare for when we are blessed with our child. There is no point of me sitting home cleaning the house day after day, and I do make dinner every day for my husband. Am I wrong?

I think God is pretty clear on this subject - look at what he says right after Eve jacks up and eats the forbidden fruit:

"Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Genesis 3:16 KJV

This was the first example of a woman trying to go to work - God had given the garden to Adam, and he was to tend to it and do the harvesting.. what happens when the woman tries to harvest? Causes all of humankind to fall into sin. Oops. God's punishment to women? Man shall rule over them, and it's gonna hurt like hell giving birth.

Women in the workplace? God don't like it, and daily experience shows us it is a bad idea:

So the choices for women are...

A) Live a life of in-equality and discrimination and just keep hope that at the end of it God shall reward you with heaven or...

Live a grand and fulfilled life with a career and respect, you'll probably have a sexist husband who treats you badly but you'll have your pride and just hope hell isn't real.

C) Be a lesbian, have a fulfilling career, have a caring lover, however then there's that whole hell thing.

It's not much of a win-win situation for Christian women is it? Although, quick question, why did women punish all women for eating the fruit? Eve acted badly, but why take that out on all women throughout time? And why isn't his wrath afflicted onto many creatures of the animal kingdom, such as black widows.

Matthew 5:22 "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."

I honestly don't care what verses ( or whatever you call them ) you can find that say I'm going to hell, if I go to hell, that's great I don't care, if I don't go to hell, then that's even more great.

I'm sorry, I meant pretty much everyone except people that do awful things like people that rape, murder, kidnap, and people that decide because their in a bit on financial troubles, it would be OK to sell their 13 year old daughter in order to make some money ( yet you have enough money to spend 20,000 dollars on a pastor -.- ). People that do those kind of things I HATE, I'm not saying I hate all christians just the ones that follow even the bad things in the bible -.- have a pleasant day =D
